The First Competition

Note: I think I'm going to say this in every chapter, I AM STILL FIXING THE GRAMMAR, PUNCTUATION, VOCABULARY, AND LITERALLY EVERYTHING. I DON'T KNOW WHAT CHAPTERS Y'ALL ARE ONE BUT I'M HOPING IT AIN'T A FREAKING MESSED UP ONE, thanks. x

It was the day of the first competition, everyone had gathered and were now sitting in the history of magic classroom where the first competition was to take place, the selected champions were standing at the front of the classroom, waiting for Dumbledore to announce what the competition was about. 

About a minute later, Dumbledore walked in the room with Hagrid walking behind him, "now please, champions please pay attention very carefully, four nifflers will be gathering gold coins which are scattered all over this classroom, when all the gold coins have been collected which ever one of you that picks the niffler that has collected the most gold coins will win!" he announced, as Hagrid scattered and hid gold coins across the classroom, everybody watched eagerly, Hagrid also gave a few gold coins to students to make it more challenging for the nifflers to get them. 

"On the count of three, one, two, three!" Dumbledore counted, and Hagrid let loose the nifflers as the champions tried to watch which one collected the most, Clara had hidden a gold coin in her pocket which was given to her by Hagrid. 

A niffler came up to her sniffing for it, she tried to hide it as much as possible, but alas the niffler found it and put it inside its pouch. 

A few minutes later...

The nifflers had found and collected all the gold coins, and where now standing on a desk that was placed in front of the four champions. 

"If any of you have tried to keep a few coins, they will disappear in about an hour or two" Dumbledore notified the students whom he saw were smirking, 

"all right kids pick your niffler!" Hagrid said happily, he loved magical creatures a lot! They all picked one holding in their hands, Hagrid took the nifflers they were holding one by one, turning them upside down to let all the gold coins fall out of their pouches onto scales. Once the weighing had ended, the scores were going to be announced, 

"In fourth place" Dumbledore began, "Andromeda Black from Slytherin" he said, Andromeda looked disappointed but Clara gave her an encouraging smile causing her regain a bit of her confidence. "In third place, Edward Tonks, from Hufflepuff" he continued, and the Hufflepuffs cheered, "in second place, Jason Dabrowski, from Gryffindor" he smiled and the Gryffindors cheered, "And lastly in first place, Xenophilius Lovegood, from Ravenclaw!" he finished, the Ravenclaws cheered the loudest. 

After the competition...

The Gryffindors wanted to have a party in the common room, but McGonagall warned them that if they did, they would all get detention, so without hesitation they canceled that thought. Clara however was invited to a Slytherin common room party, so she quickly went to her dorm, to change. 

She wore a green hoodie (for Slytherin pride) which was tucked into her black folded balloon jeans which were held up with a black belt, she wore her white sneakers, did her hair in a messy bun, put on makeup, and left for the dungeons, she had to make sure she wasn't see by McGonagall or else she'd be in big trouble. She quickly ran down the stairs to the dungeons, and unexpectedly ran into Professor Slughorn, 

"oh hello Professor!" She quickly said smiling,

"Ah! Potter! What are you doing down here?" He asked her suspiciously, she was one of his favorite students, and probably wouldn't rat her out, especially if it included Slytherin house. 

"Oh you see Professor, I was just headed to a Slytherin party I am invited too!" She quickly said, 

"oh yes! Do have fun Potter!" He said as he walked off,

"thank you Professor!" she waved and continued on her way. She walked up to one of the walls of the cellar, and whispered 

"Pure-Blood" and a passage revealed the entry to the common room, 

"Clara!" They all said when they saw her,

"hey guys!" she said and walked up to them,

"you look stunning Clara!" Regulus told her,

"oh thank you Reggy! You look awesome too!" She smiled, and he thanked her. They were all sitting down at the tables, some having drinks, some playing chess, and some just talking, they had some nice classical music playing. Clara was sitting with Regulus, Severus, Narcissa, Lucius, and Barty. 

"So we hear you're going to the ball with Dabrowski" Barty grinned,

"oh wipe that grin off your face" she laughed, "yes I am" she nodded, and they all nodded in approval causing Clara to laugh again. 

They talked all night until finally Clara decided it was time for her to go, "oh please do stay Clara!" Narcissa pleaded, 

"sorry Cissy see you tomorrow" she smiled and hugged her, "bye guys!" she said leaving,

"bye!" Lucius waved,

"bye!" Barty smiled

"bye Clara, good night!" Regulus hugged her,

"night Reggy" she smiled, and left.
