*November 3 at exactly 12:00am*
"Wake up!" Sirius shook James awake, "I'm seventeen!".
"Yes! You're seventeen!" James jumped up and they woke Peter and Remus and ran to the girls dorm to wake Clara.
"Clara! Clara!" James woke her up,
"wha-" she fell off her bed, "what!" Clara got up annoyed.
"It's my birthday!" Sirius joyfully sang,
"quiet!" "You'll wake the rest" Clara giggled she went into the bathroom and changed into denim shorts and a white oversized shirt with long maroon socks.
The five walked down slowly to the dorm careful not to wake anyone else, "oh give me a second I've forgotten something" Clara told them as soon as they reached the bottom of the staircase. She quickly grabbed her wand and the cake that she, James, Remus, and Peter had made for Sirius, and the gift she got for him.
She walked down the stairs to the common room with the cake floating beside candles lit with her gift for him in her hands.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!" They all sang, and once they finished the song he blew out the candles on his birthday cake which was floating in front of him.
"Thanks guys" he smiled shyly,
"come on, open the gifts we got you!" James urged him,

Claras gift (she has the sun and he has the moon)
James got him a black leather jacket and a new pair of sunglasses.
Peter got him a box of designed cupcakes.
Remus got him a new set of quills and ink since his had run out.
"Sirius, this is from mum" James handed Sirius a box, he opened to find a maroon colored sweater,
"thanks so much guys" Sirius smiled as he put on the sweater.
Clara took the necklace she got him from the box and walked over to him, "Sirius I can't reach you that easily", he bent down slightly and she closed the necklace around his neck. Sirius chuckled as he admired the necklace,
"you're wearing yours?" Sirius asked her,
"mhm" she smiled pulling out the pendant from under her shirt,
"thank you" he smiled and gave her a soft kiss on her cheek.
She blushed and walked away quickly to sit on the couch next to Remus, "real smooth" he teased her,
