A sigh escapes my lips as I walk to the bed and plop down before falling back. I close my eyes a brief moment trying to relax because I was really tired. Getting up at 6:30 for the past three days for interviews is very difficult especially when they last until 7-8 at night. Another sigh escapes my lips right as a couple knocks appear at the door. Slowly I get up off of the bed and slowly make my way to the door and peak out through the peephole. My eyes are met with the back of a brunette. I tilt my head to the side and pull my head back glancing down to the handle hesitantly grabbing it. But it's not long before another soft knock appears and I turn the handle opening up the door. The girl turns and I'm met with green eyes.
"Hey," Alycia gently says as her eyes shift between my eyes.
"Hey," I say back, biting my bottom lip tilting my head to the side.
"Can I come in?" Alycia asks and I nod. I step off to the side motioning for her to come in. She walks in with her arms crossed over her chest. I shut the door once she's in and turn facing her.
"You okay?" I ask, slowly walking past but feel her grab my arm stopping me. I stop and glance down to her hand on my arm. Slowly my eyes trail up her arm and soon lock with her beautiful colored eyes. "Alycia?"
"Can I do something?" She asks, her eyes soft. I tilt my head to the side furrowing my brows.
"I mean yeah but... Do what exactly?" I ask feeling her hand release my arm. Quickly my eyes glance down and then back up. Our eyes meet once more and that's when she bites her lip, but a soft expression flooding her green eyes.
"Do you trust me?"
"Of course I do." She nods and slowly steps forward. I stay where I am feeling this sort of daja vu until she leans in and locks our lips. I hesitate a moment before leaning into it, closing my eyes and wrapping my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me. Our heads ease into it as well. Her soft lips felt nice against mine and it felt strange but comforting in what we were doing. It always did even on set of Crumbling. This part was always the easiest but what concerned me was we weren't acting right now. This was real, in the moment. And that's when I slowly pull away and let go of my wrap around her as her hands fade from my face.
My eyes flutter open as I take a step back and see her open her eyes. "That was-"
"I'm sorry," Alycia says quickly cutting me off causing me to tilt my head. "I didn't mean to- I just-"
"Alycia," I say stopping her from rambling on. A small smile slowly inches to my lips as I nod my head. "It's okay."
"It's not though. You and I both know it's not." I bite my lip as my smile fades and nod looking to the ground. "I should go."
