"Y/N?" Alycia's voice spoke but my eyes remained on the rock and the dark words written on it. "Y/N?" I jump at the girl's hand on my back. Quickly I look away from the rock and to Alycia, our eyes locking. Fear lives in her eyes looking back and forth between mine. I can't find any words looking at her, not until she looks down at the rock in my hands.

Swiftly I take the rock and put it behind my back. My eyes look back to Alycia's seeing her brows furrow. "It has something written on it doesn't it?"

"What? No, it's just a rock," I lie shaking my head. Alycia tilts her head.

"Then why are you acting like this?"

"Acting like what?" I shrug my shoulders before backing up and turning swiftly to the door. "It was probably just the kids up the street." I try to justify what just happened. But that's not what happened. I knew what happened.

"The kids up the street?" Alycia asks closer to me than I expected. I nod my head up and down taking the rock and bending down, while looking at the hole it created. "People don't just take rocks and throw them through someone's window Y/N!"

"Yeah they do!" I set the rock down and glance over my shoulder to Alycia. She takes her hand and runs it through her hair as several knocks appear at the back door. Both of us jump and I quickly get to my feet. Several more knocks appear causing me to get in front of Alycia and put her behind me.

"What the hell is going on?" Alycia asks, her voice in a panic. I shake my head, looking towards the back.

"Alycia-" I pause briefly as I turn my head and lock eyes with Alycia's green ones. When our eyes lock the fear I saw before was way more than it was. I swear there was tears rising in her eyes but before I could tell all the lights turned off causing the girl to jump forward and wrap her arms around me. My arms securely wrap around her as my eyes try to adjust to the no light. I look around and shake my head.

"Alycia, go to your room. Shut the door, lock it and hide in the closet," I whisper swiftly pulling Alycia away from me and cupping her face in my hands. When I do this I can barely see the girl's eyes but I could feel her head shaking from side to side.

"I'm not leaving you," Alycia whispers back, her voice cracking a bit.

"Alycia, please-" Several more knocks appear causing both of us to jump again. This time however the knocks came from the front door. I bite my lip and look back to Alycia with pleading eyes but I know she couldn't really see them.

"Y/N, what's going on?"

"Alycia please trust me, okay? Go to your room, now," I say quickly, my voice still low. Alycia doesn't move though. She stays where she is and I close my eyes, squeezing them together tightly. "Damn it Alycia. I'm trying to keep you safe."

"Not telling me isn't keeping me safe," Alycia whispered as the doorknob started shaking violently. A shriek escapes the Australian's lips as I push her behind me once again. Slowly we back up, heading towards the stairs. My eyes stay on the front door, listening to the knob shaking.

"Alycia go!" I say and turn, carefully pushing her up the stairs. When I glance over my shoulder and our eyes lock she nods and runs up the stairs. A sigh escapes my lips as I run towards the kitchen, going over to the drawer grabbing a kitchen knife. Swiftly I turn back around and run back into the living room realizing the knob was no longer shaking.

My jaw clenches as I slowly make my way over. I keep a tight grip on the knife stopping in between the door and the stairs. Silence surrounds the area. I try to listen carefully but I hear nothing. My mind goes turning thinking. This is too far. Throwing a rock through the window. Bloody coming here and finding us. Knocking rapidly, aggressive shaking of the knob. Setting my car on fire back home. This isn't good- A loud blood piercing scream escapes from up the stairs bringing me out of my thoughts. Swiftly I turn on my heels looking up the stairs.

"Alycia-" I breathe out before taking off up the stairs. "ALYCIA!" I quickly get to the top and down the hall seeing her door shut. Without thinking, I grab a hold of the knob and barge in. Inside I take several steps forward seeing Alycia down on the bed. Her eyes were closed with blood slipping down her forehead. My eyes grow wide and I take a step forward ready to head straight for the girl before feeling a hard blow to the back of my head. I fall to the floor hard. My eyes open and close as I try to sit up. However I feel something pinch my neck as a soft humming appears right before everything turns dark.
