Day after day felt the same for the past several months. I showed up to film my scenes when needed but I didn't find myself sticking around like I normally would with Alycia. We haven't spoken since I caught her with Noah. She's been trying but I can't make myself be in that situation, but I can also see the hurt in her eyes and in her body language when we're filming. I'm talking to her and I'm to her in those scenes but outside of filming, we're nothing but strangers with one another's secrets. Apparently not all secrets though.
A low sigh escapes my lips as the interviewer begins talking and answering questions. I've found myself speaking less and less in these. I know fans have started figuring it out. I've seen the edits. I've seen the tiktoks. But I don't speak about it. June's made sure in interviews there's no questions asked about me or Alycia. I'm thankful for that, but still we have to do them together. And even now I can't stop myself from looking to her as she speaks. She moves her hands as she speaks. I love when she does that. She sounds adorable when she answers questions especially when she's talking about space. Someone asked her a butt load of questions about space but all she did was chuckle and shake her head saying, "I just think Jupiter's really pretty."
I bite my lip and drop my head a moment, letting my hair hide my face before picking my head back up. I only did that to hide the smile I knew that was forming on my lips. But as I lift up my head I hear Alycia stop talking and the interviewer address me.
"Now we just watched the season finale!" The interviewer says and looks to me. "And spoiler for anyone who hasn't watched yet- Y/N you got killed off!" A slight chuckle escapes my lips as I nod my head up and down as one of producers of the show spoke up.
"Before anyone comes for my head or any of the writers, it was Y/N's choice to be let off of the show," he spoke and I kept a small smile on my lips nodding my head as the interviewer's eyes went wide.
"Wait what? Really? Can you elaborate a bit of your decision Y/N?" I nod my head at the interviewer seeing out of the corner of my eye Alycia looking to me.
"Yeah, um with reading my script and getting to play such a character I felt like it would only benefit not only the show but let my character have the relief they needed," I explained, trying my best to not look to Alycia while talking. "I mean we watched Ryder grow so much you know. She had her ups and downs with not only herself but with many other characters from the show. Like Coleman's character Strand and Alycia's character Alicia. There's a lot of things that were done and said through the show and I just thought that Ryder's story would be better off with dying a noble, heroic death then continuing on."
The interviewer nods and continues on with the interviewer asking the producer to elaborate a little more of what I said and how they planned that whole thing out. That's when I finally allow myself to glance towards Alycia who looked upset as she looked to me. Our eyes locked briefly before I nod and look away and to the ground feeling Coleman bump into me. I pick up my head and look to him as he gives me a small smile and nod. I give him barley a smile back looking away and focusing back to the interview. My mind swirled with my answer. It wasn't 100% a lie but it also wasn't 100% the truth either.
