"Ope, sorry-" A spoke chuckling awkwardly as they bump into me. Slowly I pick up my head and lock eyes with green ones that only cause my eyes to grow wide and take several steps back. "You must be Y/N...I'm-"
"A-Alycia Debnam-Carey," I finish for her my voice trembling. I close my eyes and nod turning away a bit mentally slapping myself, but when I hear the girl chuckle in front of me I open my eyes and see her glancing to the ground. I bite my lip and nod a bit watching her pick up her head, locking our eyes once more.
"Right I figured you knew me-" she pauses with her eyes flicking back and forth between my eyes. "I've been meaning to meet you and I asked around everyone said you were around..?"
I nod realizing this may seem bad. "Right. I've been around, just really busy."
"Busy or avoiding me?" I bite the inside of my cheek realizing I may have done an uh-oh. "It's totally okay if you were."
"I-I wasn't. I was just super busy...Okay yeah I was sort of avoiding." I look down to the ground feeling my cheeks grow red but another chuckle escapes the girl's lips causing a weird feeling in my stomach. "I apologize. I should've came and introduced myself."
"Hey no don't worry about it. I totally get it-" The girl pauses and I look up seeing her sticking her hair behind her hair before continuing. "I heard some of the cast say you wrote the book that lit a match for this production?"
I nod my head. "Yeah, I did. I-"
"Hey you two are needed in make up and wardrobe!" One of the people on set yelled cutting me off and causing both me and Alycia's heads to snap to them. They drop their clipboard to their side looking to us and motioning us to come. "Let's go!"
"You know what we'll talk more. We'll obviously be spending a lot of time together," Alycia says as I turn my head towards her. Our eyes lock briefly before I see a smile grow on her lips. She nods and begins walking away. My eyes follow her before I myself do...
"Get up sleepy head!" Someone shouts as a pillow is slammed down onto me. I jump a bit as my eyes jolt open. My eyes are met with the wall before I set my head down and bury my face. "Y/N, seriously come on. We have an interview."
"Ten more minutes," I say but I guarentee it's mumbled. Another hard slam with a pillow connects with my back causing me to pick up my head and turn in the bed to find Alycia standing on the side with her head tilted and already fully dressed. "Well you look nice."
A small smile forms on her lips as she rolls her eyes reaching for the pillow. I bite my lip and grab her arms pulling her down to me causing her to squeal. She lands on top of me and I freeze once our eyes meet. Both of us look to one another. The small smile that was on her lips disappears slowly as her eyes look from my eyes to my lips. I clench my jaw knowing or at least thinking I know what she's thinking. But she ruins the moment looking away and to the side.
