fourteen >>> confrontation

I stare at the picture honestly not knowing how to respond. But a tiny voice, no two tiny voices told me one I think I just died and two this is what I mean by mixed signals. A low, unsteady breathe escapes my lips as I keep looking at the photo not really knowing how to respond. Like how do I respond to that? A sigh escapes my lips as I pick up the phone and begin typing.

I click my phone off shaking my head chuckling at myself seeing how I'm not the greatest at texting back. But at least it's something I guess. Another sigh escapes my lips as I set the phone on the pillow next to me as I push myself up off of the couch. I get to my feet and head to the kitchen opening up the fridge and looking through it. There wasn't really anything. I haven't made the time to go to the store. I roll my eyes at myself before slamming the fridge door shut.

My legs carry me back over to the couch and I sit down grabbing my phone. There's a new text from both Alycia and June but I ignore both for a moment bringing up door dash. I sit there a minute thinking of what I want to order before settling on some pizza. I put in the order fairly quickly then get out of door dash and bring up my text messages. The text from June was the script for the new show or movie. I type to her thank you before getting out and going to Alycia's texts.

I shake my head smirking almost as I read the message before typing away and hitting send.
