{A Couple Months Later}
"Alright, one final question before we let you go," the interviewer says and I smile, nodding briefly keeping my eyes on the interviewer. "Now, you've been pretty much a regular on Law and Order SVU but as last nights episode air we pretty much see that you're possibly no longer going to be on the show...The rumors I've heard is you're going to be on a different show?"
A light chuckle escapes my lips nodding my head up and down. "Yeah, um originally I was going to be on Law and Order SVU for a while, but I then got a really cool opportunity to film on Fear The Walking Dead-" I pause as everyone in the audience interrupts with a round of applauds. I turn my eyes away from the interviewer and to all the people in the audience.
"Alycia got you the job?!" Someone shouts causing me to chuckle and shrug my shoulders.
"Sort of yeah-" I pause again, biting my lip. "I mean...they were looking for someone for this role and Alycia said she knew someone. That someone was me and the producers, writers, director everyone really on set said that would be awesome even Coleman was fighting to have me so Alycia messaged me and we went back and forth then she messaged my manager. Me and my manager began talking back and forth and finally I said I'd do it, which is awesome. I'm very lucky to have this opportunity but I really enjoyed my storyline on SVU."
"Yeah your story line is really well done on SVU. I think all of us can agree we really loved watching your character and getting to know her-" the interviewer pauses causing me to look at him keeping a slight smile on my lips. "Especially when we see how Detective Olivia Benson actually takes a whole other interest in you and keeps you safe. What was your reaction to that or just your storyline in general?"
"Oh yeah um...When I read the script I honestly was only expecting to be in like 2 episodes and when they kept sending me scripts I was shocked and then I got to the episode where my story progresses I'm on the street because my character finally fights back against her father who's abusive and a druggie and so many other issues. Then the SVU team like finds me and of course I'm doing some illegal but Benson makes sure I'm accounted for and she takes me in, helps me. The scene where my character has an absolute breakdown in front of Benson was probably one of the best scenes I've filmed. It so raw and Mariska, who play Olivia, she's amazing and I love her- She just made the scene so much better, so much more...unique and more raw than it already was and it's an experience I'll never forget."
A round of applauds echoes throughout the room and I look back out to the audience and smile slightly bigger as the interviewer thanks me and everyone who came to watch or who's watching at home. After that I'm lead out of the studio and out through the back. Outside there's a bunch of fans waiting out there but I'm quickly ushered to the car, but I wave to everyone and tell them sorry and that I really have to get to the airport. They seemed like they understood which is good, but I still felt like shit for not stopping.
