Bella pov

After our hug, I broke away from them and picking up the documents Lily dropped off, moved to my office in the condo.

Tue guys followed me in.

The office was a classy black and white and very spacious since I was going to spend a lot of time here.

" I have to look through these documents which is going to take some time, u all can explore the house In the meantime or stay with me..but let me warn u, once I m immersed in work I get very upset when interrupted."

They chuckled and  I pouted.

" I m serious"

Emmett came n kissed my lower lip and said " we will stay here, u can show us the place later."

The others nodded and I sighed," ok but If u get bored, feel free to entertain your selves, there is a gym, game room, movie room and library here"

They looked shocked but nodded anyways.

I opened the files n started reading through them...

Jasper pov

We settled ourselves in bella's office n looked around.

I was a spacious office with white walls and black furniture... An led tv was mounted on the wall opposite the couch. The couch was a plush leather couch which was very warm n comfortable...

All in all it showed that bella had great taste

Speaking of bella, she was frowning at the papers n seemed immersed in them..,she looked very cute with he eyebrows knitted together and her face scrunched up

Me n the boys were talking about bella and how lucky we were n how would the sharing work at vampire speed as to not disturb bella... When I felt waves of anger rolling of bella..  I sped over to Bella and placed my hand on her shoulder and sent her calming waves. By this time the guys had come and were touching her to calm her down...

She relaxed immediately n looked at us thankfully..... But then she frowned... And turned to the phone, we all heard the phone ringing and a guy picked up on the second ring,

"Aaron" bella said

" hey izzy, what's wrong, babe?" we all growled at that....

Bella's eyes snapped to us and she raised an eyebrow daring us to continue,

We shut up not wanting to anger her further,

" don't babe me Aaron, u know exactly what's wrong, how did u even think I would agree to this deal, I had made it very clear that both companies will have equal share in the merger.. Since when did equal mean 75% for u and 25% for us???"

Bella was fuming at this point

"bella.. U know this is business, I have to secure my interests..."

"Ya right ur interests or my company's downfall Aaron, huh

If u want to work that way, then fine, u have dared to cross me Aaron now let's see u deal with its consequences, u can consider the deal off"

"u will lose ur merger then,"

This Aaron guy replied cockily. He was sure bella would bend to his terms... I didn't like that at all...bella would not bend to anyone... Edward nodded.. We turned to Bella to see  a devilish smirk on her face, " no I won't in fact it's not a merger any more, I will take over your company and if u don't agree he company will face the consequences n we know u don't want that right..."

" But..."

"no buts, my lawyer will send u the papers to be signed n u will sign them otherwise..."

Bella let the threat hanging and kept the phone down....

She closed her eyes and sunk into her chair, pinching the bridge of her nose trying to calm down...

I sent her a little calm which helped as she gave me a small smile which I returned

" sorry about that, I don't tolerate lies n betrayal not to mention he just gets on my nerves in general"

"it's okay bella but who is he??"

"Aaron knight, he is the CEO of knight enterprises in New York and a complete jackass and womanizer " She said furiously...

"God I hate him, our companies were getting into a merger for the betterment of both businesses and now he is wanting 75% stake, that bastard ..."

"shh love, calm down.. It's ok but how r u going to get back at him?" Edward asked

That caused a smirk to come to Bella's face, " friends and co. Will acquire his company... And that's for the best as it is his company is in losses due to his rash decisions. I just have Call my lawyer..."

Stating this she picked up the phone n dialled a number. " Bella, what cab u do for u??"

"tell my fellow ceos that I have something important to talk to them... And call Harvey too... I want a video conference first thing in the morning tomorrow... I have a meeting later, " She spoke with a lot of authority and coldness in her voice...that voice was enough to make me hard...uh God.. She will be the death of me

"yes ma'am," the guy knew not to mess with her at that time..

She hung up n went back to the documents..  we told her that we were going to the other rooms told her to join us when she finished. She nodded indicating that she heard us..

Edward pov

We explored the condo, it was very big, it had three bedrooms, living area, a spacious kitchen, bella's study n obviously the gym, game room and library...

We four did our things, I was in the library, Emmett in the game room with jasper and Carlisle watching television for the news...

It was only after 1 in the night that we realised bella was still in her study... Slowly we made our way to the office....,

We opened the door to see bella  working on the laptop... 

" babe u need to sleep, it's late love " Emmett said wrapping his arms around her n lifted her into his arms... She snuggled into His arms... She was really sleepy and her eyes were drooping..

" no I have to finish going through the files,  it will take 15 mins more Pls" she gave us a puppy dog look which none of us could resist

" ugh... Fine But only 15 mins... " Emmett said but instead of depositing her on the chair he sat down himself and adjusted her on his lap.. She rolled her eyes but her lips twitched and she continued her work...

20 mins later, she shut her laptop and fell backwards on Emmett's shoulder... And immediately fell asleep
