A few weeks after Amanda and Alex's first date, they had decided to actually begin dating. Amanda liked him a lot. He wasn't a douche and even though he was rich he worked as well as selling his painting. Amanda wasn't a fan of art but she could appreciate it and with how good Alex was, she wondered why he bothered to hold a different job. She finally got up the nerve to ask and discovered that his parents owned a big jewelry store over in Europe which was how they got rich.

When they moved to the US they had a store built in Manhattan and when Alex wanted to move to DC, they had one built there which Alex manages. She learned that Megan was a childhood friend that had moved with him and they had roomed together for a while and she worked at the jewelry store with him. Amanda had decided that she liked the quirky girl who had dreams of moving to Europe but didn't have the means or the courage to go alone.

Since the two made their relationship official, Amanda had brought Alex with her to Night Club with the team one night to introduce them. Everyone liked him as he was a generally cool guy but as much as Reid's mind told him that he should like him, the irrational part of him said that Alex was an obstacle in his way to having Amanda. He had experienced this kind of division once before when Amanda very first joined the BAU and he had listened to the irrational part of his brain.

So you're probably thinking that he would know better than to listen to that part. You'd be wrong. He had only come to the club to meet Alex, not even realizing that it was to find a flaw within him that would make Amanda hate him but he had come up empty. Everything might have turned out well if Lacey hadn't been at the club that night. He suspected she followed him but had no proof. All he knew was that as soon as he saw her, he made his way over to her.

"Fine, what do I have to do?" He had asked and she grinned at him.

"The stakes are higher, Spencie. I want something in return."

"What?"

"Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome, I want an introduction. I tried to get Ames to do it earlier after we had a mini-reunion but she refused. So I help you break them up and you introduce me to your friend. Until then, I wouldn't be opposed to sleeping with you," she had told him, moving her hand up his thigh.

"Deal," he had agreed and Lacey had been overjoyed. It wasn't as if the two were dating but then again friends with benefits seemed to be the only kind of friendship he could hold with Lacey. The minute Amanda had told her about their first time, Lacey had to see if what she had told her was true and she was ecstatic to learn that it was. In Spencer's life, the only girl that could come close to fucking him the same amount as Amanda was Lacey and that's because they had had quite a few threesomes.

Their agreement was what prompted him to call Lacey the day he walked into work to find a stack of invitations sitting on one of the tables they had commandeered on the 7th floor as the BAU was being remodeled. Please Join Us As We Honor The Many Men And Women Of The Burea That Have Went Above And Beyond Their Vows. The note had said, inviting them to a ceremony that was three days away, and everyone was confused by it. Sure they knew that they had ceremonies in the FBI but the BAU had never been invited. Only the units that had someone being honored were invited.

"Since when are we important enough for this?" Morgan scoff and Amanda chuckles.

"Maybe they're honoring Rossi for being so old," she taunts, making a finger gun at the mentioned individual. Rossi flipped her the bird and Amanda laughed.

"They are probably just inviting everyone in the building since they're holding it at Quantico," Aaron points out and Amanda frowns.

"Why must you ruin my fun?" He chuckles and shakes his head. "Do you think that if I invited Alex, he'd get bored?"
