A/N: I've decided that this story started in 2017 because the last COVID free year was 2019 and when I realized that I would need years in this book they were already 2 years older so just go with it kay? Also, COVID will not be in this book because I hate it.

TW: Mentions of child abuse and molestation.

Society has many different standards about sex especially when it comes to women. If a girl stays a virgin for too long it's embarrassing or she's a prude but if she loses it too early or has too much sex she's a slut or a whore. Amanda and Spencer could both tell you that this social construct comes from a misogynistic time where women were nothing more than property and men didn't want something another man had already possessed. High school is usually when the words tease, prude, slut, and whore are thrown around but Amanda graduated in 2002 when she was 10 years old so she was never exposed to these social constructs.

Her father had told her that she couldn't have sex education because he wasn't raising a whore but Amanda didn't actually know what that meant as people don't tend to call a 10-year-old a whore. This gave Amanda an unbiased opinion of sex until it was forced upon her the summer she graduated. Most people are lucky enough to not experience this but almost nobody is unfortunate enough to have this happen to them by two separate people. This skewed Amanda's view of sex greatly.

Spencer Reid had a different view of sex as he didn't think of it at all. He knew that it was something two people did when they were in a relationship but he never really saw himself in a relationship with anyone but Amanda and never dreamed that they would be together. That didn't mean that he didn't pleasure himself because he did, especially after Amanda told him that if he didn't his penis would fall off.

But maybe that was what made Spencer so inviting to Amanda. Her only experiences with sex were people far older than her taking it from her and then making her feel like it was her fault even if she knew that it wasn't. Spencer was different though. He would never even think about making her do something she didn't want to and she paid him the same respect. This allowed Amanda to change her view on sex into something that she enjoyed. A lot and with many people, sometimes at the same time. So in society's eyes, she would be viewed as a slut but she couldn't care less.

Spencer's view on sex had changed as well. It was no longer something that required a relationship or even a connection. Perhaps it was Amanda's influence or just the realization that there was nothing wrong with having sex so long as it was willing and he was respectful with their boundaries and what they did and didn't want to do. Both parties knew this about each other just like they knew that another social construct was that the first acceptable date to have sex after was the third date.

This is why, after their last try at a relationship had ended before it even really began because it was based on sex, the couple had decided to wait. For their third date, the couple had gone to a foreign film festival to see a movie in German. The whole ride back to Amanda's apartment was filled with Amanda making fun of Spencer for not understanding French. She had loved the language from the moment she heard it spoken and done everything she could to learn it. Spencer could have learned it as well but he always loved it when Amanda tried to teach it to him so he refused to learn it on his own. Sadly, he was never good at learning when Amanda was teaching, he got too distracted.

When they finally arrive and Spencer parks, they can feel the energy between them become thicker, more electric. It stays that way all the way through the lobby of Amanda's apartment building, when she waves at her doorman, as they ride the elevator up to the fourth floor and walk to the last apartment on the left before the window. Amanda quickly unlocks her door before opening it. The minute the door is shut, Amanda is pushed against it and Spencer's mouth is on hers. She quickly sheds her coat, tossing it onto the coat rack as Spencer moves his mouth away from hers to attack her neck.
