Amanda and Spencer were sitting on the chairs in Amanda and Lacey's apartment eating takeout and watching Mean Girls as Amanda's couch had already been moved to her mansion since her living room was painted. They were laughing at the fact that Karen had just told Cady that when it's about to rain she can feel it in her boobs when Spencer turned to Amanda remembering what he had meant to ask her when he arrived. "So where did Hotch go?"

Amy swallows the chow mein she was eating before setting the container on the table next to her. "Boston. Something about a cop that he worked a case with. He said he should be back soon and he was only telling me in case a case came up while he was away."

"What do you think it's about?"

Amanda shrugs. "Beats me." With that, she lets out a loud yawn that Spencer quickly picks up, making Amanda chuckle. "Ha, I made you yawn," she taunts and he rolls his eyes as she grabs the remote and turns off the movie. "I'm pretty tired, want to go to sleep?"

"Sounds good to me. I'll put the leftovers away and meet you in there." She smiles and pecks him on the lips as she makes her way to her room, not noticing Lacey's door is open until she speaks.

"God you two are so sickeningly cute it actually makes me want to vomit. I don't know how your team hasn't figured it out yet," she moans and Amanda smacks her arm.

"Shut up, you were the one always talking about how we were meant to be like Haley and Nathan or Lucas and Peyton or Caroline and Klaus."

"Hey, I stand by that last one. Everyone knows those two should've ended up together but the writers did them dirty," she grumbles and Amanda shakes her head with a laugh, not disagreeing but also not wanting to get into this when she's tired.

"Whatever, we're going to bed. Night."

"Good night, try not to be too loud," she mocks as Amanda flips her off while walking into her room. Spencer joins her minutes later and she takes her melatonin before snuggling close to him with her head on his chest while he wraps his arms around her, allowing them both to fall into a deep sleep.

The next morning, Amanda is bursting with excitement despite the fact that she shouldn't be excited about the return of a serial killer but this was the Boston Reaper. She hadn't worked the case as she was with the CIA at the time but it had been Aaron's first case as Unit Chief and she had been excited to see how he would do. Sadly, she couldn't tell because the Reaper had stopped killing and the PD closed the case.

That was what made Amanda gain interest in the case. A serial killer doesn't just stop killing, there's always a reason, and just like with the zodiac killer, she couldn't figure out what it was. There was a difference between the two because the zodiac had never let someone live, even by accident, yet the Reaper stopped killing and never went after the only survivor. It was fascinating and Amanda pounced on her brother the moment he left his office.

"Is it true, did the Boston Reaper really kill again?" She asks, silencing the team who were quietly questioning why they were going to Boston until Amanda spoke.

"How did you know?" He wonders in confusion.

"I know the case, it was captivating. There was a string of murders where he took something from one of the couples before leaving it with the next victim. He incapacitated the men before stabbing the women several times, the younger the woman the more wounds. Not to mention he used to leave 911 calls until it led to there being a survivor and then he just, stopped killing without even trying to kill the survivor despite killing two more victims after and not leaving the personal item taken from the survivor."
