Chapter 11- A New Case

After Kyle reminded Hotch of who he was and introduced himself to the team, Jenny came back and they all headed to the station. Meanwhile, at the station, one of the officers had gotten Chad some clothes and he was sat on one bench with his wife as Amanda and Spencer were sat on another. Both cops had disappeared, looking for a supervisor likely, as Amanda laughs softly to herself, making Spencer elbow her as he thinks of all the times he had been in this situation. Although, he's only been handcuffed to the bench twice.

Finally, a familiar face comes up to the small group making Amanda grin. "Freddy! Long time no see!" 'Freddy' was Fredrick Olsen otherwise known as the officer that used to arrest Amanda all the time when she was younger and in Vegas with Spencer. Although, judging from his badge, he was a detective now.

"Amanda Hotchner. And here I thought I was done seeing you in here."

"What can I say, I like to keep people on their toes," she jokes.

"She didn't even do anything," Spencer speaks, none of them noticing the station door opening. "Chad punched her in the face so I hit him." Freddy's eyebrows rise.

"You hit him, Spencer? Not Amanda? You're sure that's what you want to go with because she won't get charged with assault because he hit her first."

Amanda laughs. "No, he really is the one that hit him, Freddy. I didn't do anything." Freddy's eyebrows rise higher as Kyle speaks.

"It's true, I filmed the whole thing." He hands him the phone and Fredrick goes to watch the video, only to realize he can't get in.

"What's the password, kid?" He asks and Kyle shrugs.

"I don't know. It's Amy's phone." Fredrick sighs and takes his key and uncuffs Amanda and Spencer.

"Thanks, Fred." She uses her thumbprint to unlock the phone and he watches the video which to be fair, makes Spencer's story seem like the truth. Freddy then walks over to Alexa and Chad who are fuming.

"You're just going to uncuff them. He tried to kill me!" Chad accuses, holding his clearly broken nose with his free hand.

"Considering I know those two and am confident they aren't a danger as they're Feds, yeah, I am. You want to explain why you assaulted a federal agent, son?"

"Because she duct-taped me to a fucking goalpost," he accuses and Amanda feigns innocence with a loud laugh.

"When? I was in the gym the whole time with Kyle and Jenny. Both of which work for the CIA and will vouch for me." They both produce their credentials and back up her story as she gives Chad a satisfied look as Spencer shakes his head.

"I don't know about that but I know she put that sex tape on the screen and dumped this on me," Alexa cries and Amanda rolls her eyes.

"First off, it's not my fault you're a cheating whore but maybe somebody else wanted your husband to know. I could care less about your relationship. Second off, if you look in my audios you'll find a recording of her, Chad, and some other guys planning on dumping that on Spencer during his speech. I recorded it so I could warn him but I couldn't find him so I moved the podium over. I have no idea how it got dumped on her but it sounds like a her problem."

Freddy sighs. "All of the evidence points to you two as the perpetrators so I guess the only question is if you want to press charges, Amanda."

"I do, actually. On both of them. Chad for assaulting me and Alexa for defamation and intent to assault a federal agent since she plotted to dump that on Spencer and I have proof." Frederick rolls his eyes.

"Why does that answer not surprise me?"

"Because you've arrested her enough to know she can and will make anything other people's fault?" Spencer supplies and Freddy laughs before ordering a couple of officers to book Chad and Alexa.
