Cayde's P.O.V:
It has been 1 week since she had been frozen. We called Eris and the Exo Stranger for answers and help. They have tried everything. Ikora and Zavala try to make me feel better. Nothing works.
Now, Eris speaks in a language that I can't understand and does some weird moves. I will not commend on that.
And then I feel it. An explosion of light. I turn to look at the Traveler. He did this. An other explosion. I feel myself full of energy. I see that this heals him. I turn to look at her. Will this help her ? I hope so.
A third explosion. The ice breaks. I run next to her. I grab her before she falls. She opens her eyes.
" Cayde ? " She asks weakly.
" I am here my queen. " I say to calm her down.
She smiles and hugs me. I hug her back. I kiss her forehead. I help her stand on her feet. The way she is moving, the way she is looking at everyone indicates her tiredness.
I turn my gaze towards Zavala and Ikora, they noticed it too.
Reader's P.O.V:
Cayde helps me stand. I look at everyone. I don't know what they did but it worked. They took me away from her. This is enough.
" Thank you. " I say to everyone smiling.
" You can go now and rest. Cayde, you can follow her. " Zavala dismisses.
" Thank you. " Cayde responds taking my hand in his. We leave the room.
" What about going on my house, for a change ? " He suggests smiling.
" Sure. " I agree.
We enter his house. It is a little messy. I smile.
" What is it ? " He asks.
" Nothing. " I reply and start kissing him. He kisses me back. I deepen the kiss. Unfortunately he breaks the kiss.
" Why ? " I inquire confused.
" Because you had been frozen for 1 week. You need rest. " He answers.
" Only if you sleep next to me. " I state smiling.
He smiles and hugs me. He leads me to his bedroom. I sit on the bed. He sits next to me.
" Do you want me to bring you anything from your house ? " He asks.
" My pyjamas. " I answer.
" Consider it done and if you are hungry, there is some spicy ramen in the fridge. " He informs me.
" Ok. " I say looking at him leaving.
Cayde's P.O.V:
I return home. I had been at her house. I took some pyjamas and clothes. I didn't know what she would want to wear.
I open the door.
Silence.
Maybe she is sleeping ? I don't want to wake her up by calling her name.
I enter the kitchen. Empty.
I knock the bathroom's door. No response.
Only one place has left.
I look inside the bedroom. She had dismounted her armor but she is still wearing the shirt and the pants that she wears under it.
She is sleeping so peacefully. I take off my armor. I lay on the bed, hug her and fall asleep.
