A New Beginning (Lloyd x reader)

Chapter 15

Nya took out Luke Cunningham once he saw our diving gear and was about to notify the others. She signaled to us to move, and so we did. 

We avoid the guards who were on patrol and sneaked our way onto the castle's roof. 

We made our way to the place where Harumi's ritual was taking place. 

The guards who were supposed to be keeping an eye on the hallway were not doing a very good job. We quickly took them and hid behind the doors and watched Harumi. 

When you heard Lord Garmadon's voice, it sent chills down your spine. 

"Did you hear that?" Jay asked. 

"That sounded like Lord Garmadon," Cole said. 

"There's no doubt, that is Lord Garmadon." You tried not to show your fear, but the others saw it on you. 

"We have to do something. Fast." Nya stated. 

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Kai asked. We didn't hesitate a single moment, we attacked the Sons of Garmadon. 

"The ninja," Harumi said as she saw us. 

"Wait! There's a trap!" Lloyd yelled out to us, and we all stopped for a moment. 

"Huh?" Kai said confused. 

"Start the wheel," Harumi ordered and Killow pulled a lever, and it submerged Lloyd into the water. 

"My son. Help him." Misako shouted. 

"Lloyd!" You yelled after him. 

"You have to stop the ceremony," Lloyd told you, Kai and Jay. Even though it hurt not to save Lloyd, you knew he was fully capable of fighting for himself. 

You, Kai, and Jay used Spinjitzu to push the enemy back. 

"We have to stop her!" Kai shouted. 

"Or maybe we should save our friend from drowning," Jay suggested.

"I think that's a great idea if you ask me!" You shouted. 

"I can't get to her!"  Kai struggled to even get a step closer to the lever. Neither could you since you were fighting off another member of the gang. 

"Who's gonna save Lloyd?" Nya asked. 

"On it," Cole shouted and pretended to attack Killow, but ended up hitting the lever instead. 

"Wait, If Lloyd goes up, that means... Oh, no." You soon realized how the machine worked. 

"Lloyd!" You heard Misako shout. 

"Misako!" You yelled. You ran towards her, but another gang member stood in your way.

"Let's get you out of here," Cole said. 

"Don't help me, help her." Lloyd pointed towards his mother's cage. 

"Oh, yeah. Coming, Mrs. G." Cole apologized and tried to pull the lever, but Ultra Violet stopped him from doing it. 

"Hm, hello again." She greeted Cole cheerfully. 

"A little help?" Cole shouted. You zapped the guy you were fighting, but Kai was faster than you and attacked Ultra Violet and accidentally destroyed the lever. 

"Oops." That was the only thing he said and Lloyd was lowered into the water. 

"Someone get him out of the water," Misako shouted. 

"Nya, you are the Water Ninja," Jay shouted. 

"You don't need to be a Water Ninja to do this," Nya said and threw a spear so that Misako couldn't be lowered into the water again.
