A New Beginning (Lloyd x reader)

Chapter 35

"But look at the bridge y/n, We'll never get to help Wu out now," Jay said to you. 

"And you're all idiots for thinking Wu needs help." You looked him directly in the eyes, and you could see he was taken aback by your words. 

"What have we been teaching all this time? We have taught him everything we learned from him. Responsibility, confidence, a sense of humor, and to listen to the voice within." You looked at them all, and you saw their faces light up with realization. 

"Now, we can either stand here and do nothing, or we can go back and wait for Wu's return." You told them and they agreed. 

You all started walking back to the others. Faith had never seen this side of you before and was surprised by your trust in Wu and the others. 

"Has y/n always been like that?" Faith asked one of the ninjas. 

"She isn't always like that, but it's like she knows how to cheer us up and give us the confidence we need to continue," Jay explained to Faith. 

"It's moments like these I understand why Lloyd wanted to be with her," Kai said to Jay. 

"Who is this Lloyd you're speaking of?" Faith asked. 

"Oh, that's her husband and the father of her baby." Cole quickly explained to her. 

"Her baby?" Faith questioned and was a little taken aback. 

"Yeah, haven't you noticed how her stomach is bulging out a bit?" Jay asked her. 

"So all this time, she has been fighting Hunters and dragons while she is pregnant?"  Faith looked around at all the ninja. 

"That would be correct, but don't worry, we are keeping a close eye on her and have told her not to use her elemental powers too much," Zane explained to Faith. 

Faith didn't question your elemental powers, since she had seen the ninja in action. But the more Faith looked at you, a newfound respect swirled up inside her. 

TIME SKIP

You all reached the other Hunters, and they looked concerned when you returned without Wu at your side. 

No words were said when Jet Jack looked at us, Faith only shook her head. 

No sooner had we gotten there, than we suddenly felt the ground shake, and we all looked at the mountain. 

A giant red dragon rose from the top and was flying towards us. 

"Firstbourne again!" Arcade shouted and pointed at it. 

"Run for your lives!" Chew Toy shouted and all the Hunters began to run. 

"No, wait!" Cole shouted and pointed. 

"Look!" Kai did the same. You looked at the dragon and saw Wu was riding on the dragon. 

"Whoo-hoo! Yeah! All right! Way to go! Hahaha!" Jay celebrated. 

"He's riding without chains? How is that possible?" Jet Jack questioned.

"The Dragon Master doesn't need them." Faith said to her. 

The Firstbourne landed nearby, and we all ran as fast as we could over to Wu. 

"You did it! You actually did it!" Jay shouted. 

"I always knew you had it in you!" We all hugged him. 

"What about Iron Baron?" Faith asked him. 

"Iron Baron's days are over. He showed his true colors and Firstbourne was not impressed." We told her, and you could hear the Firstbourne roar. 

"He's gone?" Jet Jack said and all the Hunters cheered. 

"You did well, Master," Zane told him. 

"Or should we say...Dragon Master." We all bowed to Master Wu. 

"No, my friends. I bow to you. It was your lessons that guided me." Master Wu bowed to us. 

"Hey, I don't mean to rain on the parade, but our job isn't done," Cole said, and we all realized he was right. 

"He's right. We've got friends waiting for us!" Jay said and looked at you and smiled, and you smiled back. 

"And a score to settle with Garmadon," Kai said. 

"Do you think Firstbourne can take us all home?" Zane asked Master Wu. 

"That's up to them." Master Wu said and looked at the Firstbourne. The Firstbourne roared loud and clear, so much that we had to cover our ears. 

Five more dragons shot out of the mountain and flew their way down towards us. 

"Looks like we've found our answer," Cole said, and you nodded. 

The dragons landed, and we slowly began walking towards them, before stopping and looking back at the Hunters. 

"Faith, we promised to bring you with us. You can ride with me." Master Wu told her. 

"You kept your word, and that means the world to me. But I am needed here.". Faith told him and stepped back. 

"I thought you hated this place," Kai said. 

"I did. But you taught me that with courage, things can change. And I would rather stay and fight for change in my home, than run. But I cannot do it alone." Faith told us and Jet Jack laid a hand on her shoulder. 

"Faith, if you ever need help, you know you have friends in Ninjago," Kai told her. 

"And you have friends here in the First Realm." Faith told us, and we all smiled at her, before running over to our respective dragon. 

"Master Wu, get us home. Yee-Haw!" Kai shouted as we took off. 

"Man, I missed this," Cole shouted as we flew through the sky. 

"Everyone, hold on!" Master Wu told us and the Firstbourne began spinning around, and our dragons did the same. 

You saw the portal open and knew you weren't far away from seeing Lloyd again. 

"Where did they go?" Daddy no legs asked. 

"Ninjago." Faith told him.
