We looked on as both Lloyd and Garmadon walked further into Ninjago City. It didn't take long before they found people. They had been consumed by the darkness, and it looked like they had turned to stone.

It didn't take long to spot someone very familiar. Lloyd found Mister Borg.

Lloyd argued with his father to take Mr. Borg to the temple to heal, but his father rejected the idea.

Lloyd ended up promising Mr. Borg to fix the problem at hand before walking away with his father.

You saw how absolutely devastated P.I.X.A.L. was to see her father like that, you knew how it felt, but you kept your mouth shut.

TIME SKIP

While Zane kept an eye on the camera Lloyd had on him, we all went to our respective posts and made sure everything was alright.

Soon, a radio signal could be heard, but Zane couldn't get through to them for some reason.

"Come in. We hear you." Zane said, but the man didn't respond to his call.

"What was that?" Kai asked him.

"I believe it was a distress call, but we have lost the audio," Zane told him.

"Can you trace the signal?" Cole asked him.

"I will attempt to triangulate the source,"  Zane said and quickly went to work.

"There! Several miles east of us. It appears to be a television station in the outskirts of Ninjago City." It didn't take long for Zane to figure out where the signal came from.

"Maybe some people who didn't evacuate in time," Cole suggested, which was a high probability.

"We got to help them," Kai said.

"What about Lloyd? We can't just abandon him." Jay made a good point.

"If someone's in trouble, Lloyd would be the first person to tell us to help," Nya said to us, and she wasn't wrong.

"That may be, but Lloyd would be incorrect. There's literally nothing more imperative than the success of his mission. If he fails, all of Ninjago is lost." Zane pointed out to us the importance of Lloyd's mission.

"Perhaps-perhaps there is a way to be in more places than one. I can remain behind in the Samurai X mech, while you take the Bounty and investigate the distress call." P.I.X.A.L. suggested, and it didn't sound like a bad idea.

"What if you run out of fuel?" Nya asked her.

"Don't jinx it." You told her.

"That would not be good. Let us hope you are back before that happens." P.I.X.A.L. said and took hold of Zane's hand.

"We will be back," Zane reassured her before she pressed a button on her wrist and the Samurai X mech came flying in no time.

"She'll be okay," Nya told Zane before we took off towards the signal.

As we continued on our way to the distress signal, Zane kept an eye on the camera feed we got from Lloyd.

"He must be nearing the source of the darkness. The Realm Crystal seems to be interfering with the signal." Zane said and that got your attention.

"This is it," Garmadon said before going round a corner.

"There it is! Destroy it! Quick!" Jay shouted as we saw the Realm crystal. It had turned completely black at this point.

"He cannot hear you." Zane reminded Jay.

We watched in horror as something rose from the smoke that emanated from the Realm crystal. Garmadon took the Oni on, but he seemed to be outmatched.

Lloyd tried to use his Spinjitzu, but the Oni only pushed him away. Lloyd lost his camera headband, and we lost signal to Lloyd.

"Zane! How do we get the signal back?" Kai asked Zane as he tried himself.

"The signal is lost, Kai," Zane told him and Kai stopped what he was doing.

You wanted to cry so badly, but what would that do. You could only hope Lloyd and his father made it out alive.
