A New Beginning (Lloyd x reader)

Chapter 32

"To get to the Dragon Armor, we need first to get past this mountain." Faith told us, and we looked at the mountain in front of us. But the peaceful surrounding was quickly disturbed. 

Helicopter blades could be heard in the distance, and when we looked, we all saw The Hunters had followed us. 

"We were followed." Faith shouted, and we all ran for our vehicles to get away from them.

"We'll lose them in there!" Sensei Wu shouted and pointed to the entrance of a cave. 

"Looks like his instincts kicked in," Jay shouted as we entered the cave. Sadly, that didn't shake all the Hunters off of our trail. 

"You think you can outrun us?!" Jet Jack shouted the Faith. 

"Heavy Metal...you're like...me." Now that you thought about it, the other Hunters had never seen Faith without her helmet before. 

"Not like you. Better!" Faith shouted and steered away from Jet Jack. Jet Jack nearly crashed into a rock but managed to stop herself before. 

We flew as fast as we could, but we soon ran into another problem. Rocks seem to be falling from the ceiling of the cave and were blocking your escape. 

"Bad instincts, Wu. You have very bad instincts." Jay shouted to Sensei Wu

"Hold on!" Cole shouted. But the rocks did nothing to stop The Hunters as their vehicles just barreled through them. 

You watched as Iron Baron jumped onto Faith and Sensei Wu's vehicle. Iron Baron took Faith's sword, and they began fighting over it, but Iron Baron got the upper hand. He slashed the sword into the steering section of their vehicle, and there was not much Faith could do about that. 

Sensei Wu had fallen off but was hanging on to the vehicle. You couldn't hear what was being said over the other vehicle around you, but you saw Iron Baron ready to attack Wu. Luckily, Faith was faster and pressed the speeder and the jolted forward, sending Iron Baron off his course. 

Sensei Wu and Faith jumped onto Cole and Kai's vehicle, sadly Faith's little stunt wasn't enough to slow them down. 

"Wu was right. There's a way out." Kai said and pointed towards the light. 

"Hold on," Cole shouted as we drove out of the cave.

"We'll never outrun them. We need to stop the Dieselnaut." Faith said as we glanced behind us. 

"How about we take it? She taught us to thread iron, didn't she? Work together!" Cole shouted to us. 

"You know what, I love that idea." You smirked and grabbed your chain gun. 

We drove up next to the Dieselnaut and began firing out chain guns. We missed a few times before we actually attached our chains to the vehicle. 

"Awesome!" Kai shouted as his chain attached itself. 

"Just like the Dragon." Faith told Sensei Wu. 

"Remember, confidence!" Kai told him, and Wu nodded and jumped on the chain and ran towards The Dieselnaut. But halfway through, Wu trips and is hanging from the chain, but he somehow managed to get across anyway. 

"I swear that boy will give me a heart attack one day." You said to yourself and had a hand over your heart. 

"Just wait until you become a parent, y/n!" Jay shouted. 

"Don't remind me!" You shouted back at him. 

You could do nothing but watch and be ready if something happened to Wu. You watched as Sensei Wu took care of the first two Hunters onboard, but Kai took care of the third and last one for him. 

"It's all yours!" Kai shouted to Sensei Wu. We took control over the Dieselnaut, and we all climbed onto it, but almost immediately we saw trouble approaching us. 

Both the helicopter and another vehicle came close to us, but Cole was quick to react and climbed into the giant chain gun sitting on top of the vehicle. 

"Cole!" Everyone shouted in surprise. 

"Now I've got you." Cole turned the chain gun towards the helicopter and fired and hit the tail end of the helicopter. We all cheered. 

Unfortunately, that was not the end of it. The other vehicles behind us attached their chains to the Dieselnaut. 

"I'll take it from here," Kai said to Sensei Wu and took over driving. 

You decided to go help Faith get the chains off from behind. You two managed to get the chains off before a chain wrapped around Faith. 

"Faith!" You shouted and tried to grab her, but you realized Jet Jack got her and flew away with her. You climbed after her but simply wasn't fast enough. You saw she grabbed onto something, but she couldn't hold it for long. 

"Baron doesn't know where the armor is. But you do! Go!" She shouted to Wu. 

"I won't leave you! I have to have Faith! I need you!" Sensei Wu shouted to her and tried to get closer. 

"You need the Dragon Armor!" She shouted and grabbed something that looked like a giant screw.

"Y/N! Jump!" She shouted to you. 

"But Faith-" You protested, but Faith wouldn't have it. 

"JUMP!" She shouted, and you ran and jumped, luckily Wu caught you. 

We all watched Faith get taken away and the Dieselnaut splits in two. Despite Faith getting taken away, we could do not but drive away from the Hunters. 

"Faith..." You whispered as you looked at the chaos you left behind.
