"Damn brat!"

"Worthless piece of shit!"

My name is Marsh Adow, I am five years old.

The first shout comes from my father Syph, who is shoving my brother who is five years older than me to the ground, the second shout is coming from my mother who is kicking me in the back knocking me to the floor.

"What do we do Syph, it's been ten years and we have nothing but these two useless brats who have nothing we can take from them and we're forced to take care of them!"

"Put two and two together Nyla, just like Zayfur we were tricked by that damned demon, what's more; it hid itself from us, not a single one of us three can remember how to find it!"

"So much for it's damn foresight.."

I can just barely see my mother behind me biting her lip after finishing that, I turn to looking infront of me and I see my brother lifting his head up with what strength he has. From his pure white hair, I see his bangs almost covering his left eye as he grins looking between both our parents.

"The thing had foresight and you didn't get what you were promised, you assholes really haven't figured out that it was setting you up to fail from the get-go, hah what idiots."

I cackle after hearing the remark for a good few seconds before I feel the bottom of a boot against the back of my head as it causes my head to hit the floor, the collision causes my jaw to pop hurting quite a bit. I hear my brother grunting as I can only imagine he's being hit or kicked repeatedly since he can take more than what I can.

Feeling sapped of all my energy I feel myself starting to pass out as I recall the last things I saw. My father, crimson hair with white bangs, green and brown eyes, a much darker skin tone compared to my own and a scar around his right green eye. My mother, long brown hair with bangs to match my brother's, skin tone and hair colour much like my own and sky blue light coloured eyes. My brother, skin tone like my fathers, white, barely to be considered spiky hair with bangs to once again match mother's, and true green eyes. I reach out to my brother before I pass out

"A... Ar.. Arc-"

I'm unable to finish as my arm drops and my sight fades to black.

-Present Day-

"Yeah, that's the farthest point I can think to start at, now what nex-"

"Are... are you sure they said Zayfur?"

As Xenith says that sitting on the edge of his seat with a serious look in his eyes, I give him a confused look back.

"Positive... why do you ask?"

" Because Marsh, that's my father's name, meaning our parents knew each other and... whatever it is they were talking about, we need to look into."

I nod while covering my mouth in confusion processing what I've just been told. Still lost in thought I remember he's still marked as fugitive and it most likely not be long until he's being hunted again "Is there really no way to clear him... unless..."

"However.. I don't know about you... but I'm exhausted and it seems the sun is going down so, I think it's about time I get goi-"
