Chapter 16: Sorrow

If I had to pick. I would choose being brainwashed over this.

I lie on the floor crying. My arm is dislocated and hurts so much. My so called girlfriend has been revealed to be nothing but loyal to my second brother. And she proved that with my arm.

So help me if this is a dream, I never want to sleep ever again. I keep crying, not moving an inch.

I hear footsteps approaching my front door. Once they get closer, the door opens.

"Hey Marsh. I just saw Lillian leave.. she looked different I Think? And she was going away from her.. wait, why was the door- oh shit!"

It's Kron.

He rushes over to me, then sitting me up right. He touches my arm in trying to do so, I gasp in pain when he does.

"Shit, sorry.. Oh man your arm. Can you tell me what happened?"

Almost extremely exhausted from constant crying, I slowly lift my head to directly look at him to answer. I barely can get any words out.

"Lillian.. loyal.. to Nexus.. everything.. an act.. didn't believe.. demonstrated.. with arm..."

"Son of a.. oh, I'm so sorry Marsh. Your arm, broken?"

I slowly shake my head.

"Dislocated?"

I nod.

"Okay.. alright.. I'm not entirely sure how to fix that and I don't want to hurt you anymore than needed to do that.. I'm going to go find Martix and Xenith, sit tight. I'll be back as fast I can."

Before going he sits me up against the wall. He then rushes off to go find the other two.

I sit there in silence. I have yet to stop crying, arm lays here limp and in pain, me still holding closely to myself. A sound breaks through the silence, I turn my head slowly over to where I heard the sound from.

I see Luxia stepping out of a portal that I think Allison made. When she does she looks at me shocked, but doesn't say a word. She walks around to my right arm and kneels down, getting closer to me.

She runs her hand gently along my arm, it stings as she does.

"Well now, what happened to you? Or how about what's been happening to you?"

"Lillian.. Alio and.. Oro.. Nexus.."

I don't even think about not answering her. Again, I'd prefer what she could to do to me versus everything that's happening now.

"Hmph. That doesn't tell me much, I know Lillian is that girl you're with.. Hey wait, you know Oro? And about Alio? Oh that's great, funny thing. I'm responsible for that whole mess, failed experiment ended with that split personality. My bad I guess?"

I feel too drained to be angry with her right now. The result is that I just feel worse.

"And who's this Nexus person? I've been pretty busy past few days so I couldn't be glued to my cameras."

"Second.. brother.."

"A second brother? Great, will that one be just as of a pain in the ass as the last one was?"
