It was mid-afternoon when EZ came into the clubhouse to find you.

"I'm going to grab a quick shower, cariño, then we can head to see my Pop. Angel and Coco are riding with us."

You smiled and nodded before giving him a quick kiss. You were excited to see Felipe, and thank him for sending EZ to pick you up. He'd done nothing but care for you from the moment he showed up at the hospital, and you were so grateful. You could already see a future with him, and it was thanks to Felipe.

He walked back out into the main room a few minutes later, clean clothes on and his dirty ones in his hand.

"Ready, cariño? I'm going to toss these in my laundry, then we should be good to go. The guys are outside."

"Ready." You reached over to grab his hand, and as you got closer, you were surrounded by his scent. "Fuck. You smell so good, Ezekiel."

He chuckled and smiled at you. "I'm glad you think so, bebita."

"Since you have a trailer instead of a dorm, where do you shower?"

"Angel's room."

"Makes sense. So, is it just the two of you, or do you have more siblings?"

"Just us."

"I'm an only child. I don't think my mom wanted kids, but my dad says he always did. After they had me, he knew he didn't want any more with her. She wasn't a very good mom. He thought she'd change once I was born, but she tended to ignore me a lot. I think that was a big point of contention in their relationship. People always say it's not the kids' fault when parents split up. I think it was because of me, but not in a bad way. My dad knew she was shit, she hated the club anyway, and he wanted better for me. Honestly, I'm glad she left. I was so much happier when she wasn't with me. She always had something negative to say about me. It felt like she hated me."

"Mierda, bebita. That fucking sucks. Angel always calls me the golden boy, because my mom and Pop paid more attention to me than to him. He never seemed to understand that I hated it. I've looked up to him my whole life, and I hated that he felt like that. It always felt like my fault, but I couldn't do anything to change it."

"I'm sorry, Ezekiel. That sucks too. I think you are pretty spectacular though, and I fully intend to pay more attention to you than anyone else."

"I welcome that kind of attention from you. I want to be the person you are most drawn to. I want to be yours."

"You are mine."

"Just like you are mine."

You leaned up to kiss him, hooking your hand around his neck to pull him a little closer. You deepened the kiss slightly, running your tongue along his lips, so you could slip it into his mouth. Soon, you were lost in the kiss. When you pulled back for air, you smiled up at him, and pulled his hand a little to get the two of you moving again. You'd walked out to his trailer, but had been stopped just inside it talking.

You walked to his bike and saw that Angel and Coco were waiting for you.

"Sorry, guys. Got distracted."

They both chuckled and nodded before getting on their bikes.

It wasn't long before you were pulling up outside the carnicería. EZ held the door for you as you walked inside.

"Pop?"

"Aquí atrás." (Back here.)

EZ linked his fingers with yours and walked toward the back. Angel and Coco stayed outside, keeping watch.

You stepped into the freezer to see Felipe cutting up some meat.

"Hey, Pop."

"Hola, EZ. Y/N, it's good to see you. How are you feeling?"

"I'm ok. Thank you for sending Ezekiel to pick me up. He's taking very good care of me."

"Good. You let me know if that changes."

"Don't worry, Pop, I plan to take care of her for as long as she will have me." He pulled you a little closer into his side.

"I heard you are staying with EZ."

"Yeah. My dad is Obispo, so I'm staying at to the scrapyard. Ezekiel makes me feel safe, so I stick close to him. You raised a remarkable man."

"Gracias, cariño." EZ said to you with a shy smile.

The two of you talked to Felipe for a few more minutes, before saying you needed to get a phone for you. The three of you walked out to the front of the store. Angel was standing inside, looking at the bookshelf.

"Hey, Pop."

"Ángel. You keeping her safe too?"

"Yes. Gotta make sure Boy Scout's girl doesn't get hurt. Bishop would have my ass."

You chuckled at that.

Felipe nodded before giving you a hug and telling you to take care of yourself.

The four of you headed to the store for a new phone. While you were picking one out, completely oblivious, your ex was across the street. He'd been looking for you, since he went to the hospital last night to check on you and they told him you'd been released into a man's care. He was pissed when he heard you were with another man. He knew you were a whore. How the hell you met someone else, he didn't know. He kept close tabs on you. You shouldn't have been able to interact with anyone else. It pissed him off even more when he saw you being escorted by a damn motorcycle gang. Just who were you hanging out with, and how did you get hooked up with them? You'd never mentioned any biker trash. What else were you hiding?

EZ told you to pick out whatever phone you wanted. You tried to grab a cheap flip phone, but the look he gave you told you he wasn't buying you something cheap.

"Cariño, don't make me pick a phone for you. It doesn't matter what it costs. ¿Comprendido? Get whatever phone you want, and we will get you set up with a new phone plan. It can be in your name, if you want, or mine if you don't. I'll pay for it until you get back in at the hospital. You don't have to work, bebita, but I'm sure you want to." (Understood?)

"Thank you, Ezekiel. You are too good to me."

"No such thing, cariño. You deserve to be spoiled."

You smiled up at him, then looked back down at the phones. You settled on an iPhone, and he insisted on a case and screen protector. You got the plan set up. You decided to get it in your name, with EZ as a co-signer for it because you didn't want your ex's address as your proof of residence, and that is what was on your license.

Once the phone was squared away, you asked EZ if he minded stopping at the store, so you could pick up a few things that you needed. The guys did a decent job grabbing stuff for you, but you didn't have some necessities from your bathroom. Once you had what you needed, the four of you headed back to the scrapyard.
