Chapter 32- Fly
-Noelle's POV-
***
It had been about 4 months since I went to that party at Zayns, and school was currently on break for the holidays. I was beyond glad that I had two whole weeks off of school, I was exhausted.
I was also glad to have the time off so I could spend more of my time with Zayn. Things between him and I had definitely been slightly awkward between for the first few weeks, but we eventually got comfortable with each other and it was easy to say that I was happy with him.
We argued a lot, probably more than we should, but we were both stubborn and had trouble when things didn't go our way. But when we both agreed on something, it was the most wonderful feeling ever.
Zayn couldn't have been more right when he said that the night of the party wouldn't be the last time that we had sex. Let's just say that I really couldn't get enough of him, and he seemed to mirror those feelings. We still got odd looks from people when we walked around campus together or when people caught us making out in front of my dorm, I supposed that they were shocked that I had landed such an attractive boyfriend. I was still pretty shocked honestly.
"So two whole weeks huh? Oh the possibilities." Zayn stated, leaning up against the frame of the door to my dorm room.
"I know. I don't think I've been more grateful for something in my whole life honestly. I'm worn out." I said back, tossing my books down on my nightstand before sprawling out on my bed. Zayn shut the door to the room before laying down gently next to me, so our shoulders were touching.
"That's not exactly what I like to hear. I can't have you being worn out, that simply won't do." Zayn smirked.
"And what exactly do you like to hear then?" I played along, capturing his hand in mine, thumbing over the pattern of the tattoo he had recently gotten on his hand.
"Well you smile more when you're not tired. Laugh a lot more. You're also much more sarcastic." He explained, turning his head slightly so that I could feel his warm breath hitting my face. I smiled at him before he brought his lips to mine in a passionate kiss.
We kissed for a while, pulling back slightly to catch our breath occasionally. Zayn began whispering sweet nothings against my mouth, causing me to crack a wide smile. I was never really sure why they were called sweet nothings because when Zayn whispered them to me, they weren't nothing. They gave me this feeling deep in my stomach, I couldn't explain it any better than to just say that it was an intense fondness. I never wanted that feeling to go away, it seemed to perfectly fill the hollow feeling that I had been living with for so many years.
"I'm assuming you still have to work over the next couple weeks though?" Zayn breathed, disconnecting our lips but keeping his face impossibly close to mine.
"Sadly, yes." I groaned. "I guess I could just quit. I have more money than I know what to do with at this point. I don't have that many needs." I shrugged at him.
"No way. You can just start saving up, college will end one day, then you'll have more needs." He responded immediately. He placed a short kiss on my lips before continuing. "Do you happen to work on Wednesday night?"
"I don't think so why?" I responded.
"Because, I'm taking you out to dinner. Like a fancy dinner. I've sort of been saving up for a little while to take you on a proper date, and I think Wednesday is the perfect night." He explained, a smile spreading across his lips.
"Oh Zayn, you don't have to do that. I like the dates we go on." I said. "I'm not very difficult to please."
"Yeah I know you aren't, but I'm still taking you. I think it should be fun." He beamed.
