Ch. 22 Key

After the two had explained everything to Shinobu and Kaki, they had walked their way into Y/n's village.

"Can you let me go already?"

Kaki had been tied up by shinobu with a rope that had seemingly come out of nowhere.

"No~ Your hand there looks as if it wants to murder me."
Shinobu pointed to the disfigured arm that was black and red with sharp claws.

"So, where are we going now?"
Y/n walked beside Giyuu while Shinobu and Kaki were behind them.

Giyuu noticed the stares of the villagers, ones with disgust and others with pity.

"I want to explain the situation with Master."

"So you want to bring me back?"

"That's not what I said."

"I know. I'm just tired of all this."

"I understand that. I'll tell the kasugai crows to send a message to the master and the other Pillars."

"Thank you, Tomioka-San."
Giyuu suddenly grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips, planting a kiss before setting the coupled hands in between them.

"Anything for you."

Meanwhile, Kaki and Shinobu had been fighting in the back. Shinobu had kept him restrained by telling him she had poisoned him and if he didn't shut up he wouldn't get the antidote.

"Alright, Fine!"

"There's a well-behaved boy~ I was just kidding about the poison. Although, I could probably find something to get rid of that arm of yours."

"By doing what?"

She looked over at the red-haired boy with the most menacing smile.
"By cutting it off of course~"

"Shinobu-san, stop teasing him please."
Y/n gave her a nervous smile all while still holding Giyuu's hand.

"Come on, Y/n-Chan~ Let me at least have some fun while you two are being all lovey dovey~"

Y/n immediately blushed and Giyuu simply placed a small kiss on her cheek.

"Tomioka-San-"

Y/n was stopped short when she felt him let go of her hand and watched as he went into a crouched position in front of Y/n, as if he was asking her to ride on his back.

"Oh, Tomioka-San there's no need for-"

Shinobu lightly pushed Y/n from behind, Y/n falling onto the Water Pillars back.
Giyuu grabbed onto her legs and lifted her body up on his back.

Meanwhile Kaki had still been tied up and groaned at the display in front of him.
"Get a room"

"What a great idea! Tomioka-San, Let's take a stop in the next town."
Shinobu smiled widely and Kaki had put on a tired face.

"Alright. Y/n, do you want to make a rest stop?"

Y/n had been too busy blushing into his hair while she hung her arms around Giyuu's neck as he had been holding up her frail legs.

"Yeah sure...Can you put me down Tomioka-San?"

"No."
