(I'm so sorry that I'm not updating regularly. I'll find a good schedule soon.)

The man had a scar on his face and the twins helped him stand.

"All my children are here."

He looked towards the hashira and stopped on Y/n.
"I see Ms. Fuyu is here as well."

"With all due respect, Master, why were we called here with a mizunoto?"
Sanemi spoke with manner.

"I wouldn't take her so lightly, Sanemi."
Giyuu said in calm voice.

"Now, now. Tomioka-San, I know very well that this girl is your fate, but I have come to know her unique situation, as you have as well."
The Man spoke in a soft voice that Y/n felt soothing.

"What is this unique situation, Master?"
Rengoku spoke with a loud voice that was full of curiosity.

"Y/n is half demon. However, her actions from the past have shown her to be more human than demon."
All the hashira looked in the direction of
Y/n.

"You poor child, how long have you suffered this curse?"
The Stone pillar remained in a praying-like stance.

"I was born like this."
Y/n didn't hesitate to answer, fearing the pity from others.

"Have you devoured any humans?"
Sanemi walked up to Y/n.

"No, the thought of it disgusts me."

"If you're half demon, would the Nichirin Sword affect you in any way?"
Sanemi has a crazed smile on his face.

"Yes, I learned that when I trained with my father."

"Is your father a demon?"

"No, I was abandoned at an orphanage. I have no knowledge of my parents and their whereabouts."

Giyuu stared as Y/n answered all the questions calmly.
How could she be so calm in this situation?

"Sanemi, that's enough."
Giyuu grabbed the Wind Pillars' shoulder just before he was about to grab his sword.

"Alright, alright. You're no fun, Giyuu."
Sanemi retreated to the tree the Snake Pillar was sitting on.

"I hope this will bring a new light onto Ms. Fuyu. While She has done nothing wrong, the slayer corps plans to keep an eye on her."

The hashira bowed as the Master went back inside the building.

Giyuu immediately went towards y/n.
"Are you ok?"

"I'm fine."
She spoke dismissively, not meaning to harm Giyuu in any way.

Of course, Giyuu thought otherwise.
"I'm just trying to help."

"And I said that I was fine."

Shinobu sighed as she walked over to Giyuu, knowing what Y/n's true intent was.
"Tomioka-San, if she says she's fine, then she's fine."

The rest of the hashira watched this scene unfold, most of them worrying about Giyuu.

"Y/n-Chan why don't we head back to the butterfly mansion?"

"Oh, but I wanted to know more about her unique breath style...."
Mitsuri muttered and Rengoku heard.

"Yes! I want to hear more about this icy breath style!"

The hashira began making a ruckus, demanding to see Y/n's breath technique and Shinobu tried to settle them down while Giyuu became Y/n's human shield.

"Come on, Everyone, Y/n-Chan might not be comfortable with this-"

"I'll do it."

The hashira stopped and everyone looked at the blue and E/c eyed girl.

"Are you sure?"
Giyuu held her shoulder.

Y/n simply smiled.
"Don't worry, Giyuu"

He let go of her shoulder and everyone stood back to see the breath technique.

Y/n readied up, standing up straight and drawing her sword, locking it right in front of her face.

"Breath of Frost Fifth Style: Icicle Tide"

Y/n thrust her sword towards the tree Sanemi and Obanai were, releasing a storm of forward moving strikes with the tip of her blade.

She then followed up with an immensely powerful slash aiming to seamlessly move through the entire tree.

When she finished, the tree had gained slash marks that resembled that of an icicle.

The hashira had watched the miraculous display of the breath technique.

Out of all of them, Giyuu was the most impressed.

(It's kinda short and I apologize but hope you enjoyed)
