Ch.13 Together

(I know I said it wasn't gonna be a long until I posted another chapter but like my sister tested positive for Covid-19 soooooo-)

Y/n felt her face heat up from the question.
Especially when Giyuu was making a sincere face.

Y/n felt her body move on its own as she pulled Giyuu up from his kneeling position and hugged him with all her might.

Her face felt wet as she stuffed her face into Giyuu's chest.

"How could I say no to that...?"

Giyuu's heart had been thumping the entire moment, the suspense killing him.

He had been afraid of what Y/n was going to say.
Afraid of what would have happened if she had said no.

Giyuu hugged her back, wrapping his arms around her strong, but womanly body.

He felt her tears wet his haori, not caring if it became dirty.
He was just so happy Y/n had accepted his proposal.

Maybe somewhere in the future, they could live together and have their own family-

"I see we finally understand each other."
Shinobu walked into the room.

Y/n quickly tried to wipe away her tears, Giyuu helping her.

"I just came to tell you that the Master wants you two to form a unit. More like a duo but you get what I mean."

Giyuu and Y/n looked at each other and then at Shinobu, who smiled.

"Did the master say why exactly?"
Giyuu spoke up first.

"Not really. Maybe because you guys are fated and because like the master said, this could be a way to keep an eye on
Y/n. Of course, the master trusts you to report anything unusual."

Giyuu stood silent for a few moments before answering, "of course"

"Now that the matter has been settled, your first mission as a unit will come in the morning so be ready."
Shinobu smiled and waved at Y/n before walking out and leaving the two to their private time.

Y/n got up out of the bed.
"Well, let us train for the moment."

Giyuu smiled, following Y/n out of the room, both of them making their way towards the garden.

Throughout the afternoon, Y/n and Giyuu had practiced their breathing techniques both of them even teaching each other their own techniques.

Y/n learned 5 water techniques while Giyuu learned 3 Frost techniques.

Y/n had been surprised at how close they came, wondering if this was an effect of the red string.

During the night, they slept in the same room and bed, keeping each other warm at night.
Y/n could barely get any sleep because of Giyuu, who kept wrapping his arms around her stomach and resting his head on Y/n's shoulder.

Giyuu had been teasing Y/n, just to see her reactions, now that she could show her real face.

And just like that, morning came.

Y/n woke up from her 2 hour sleep, noticing Giyuu still had his arms wrapped around her.

She then realized the two of them had been cuddling the entire night after she felt her arms wrapped around Giyuu's body.

She didn't want to wake Giyuu up, so she tried to go back to sleep.

Giyuu had already opened his eyes minutes before Y/n had awakened.

He took in the full view of a calm and defenseless Y/n, feeling the urge to tease her, but stopped himself.

So instead of teasing, he decided to be more upfront.

"Good morning, Snowflake"

Giyuu felt her body tense up at the sudden nickname.
"......Snowflake....?"

As Y/n opened her mouth to question she heard footsteps at the doorway.

The door slid open, revealing Shinobu.

"The Master has a mission for you two."
She turned to leave but stopped short.

"And if you're going to do that, then at least get under the covers."
