(What's up _(:3 」∠)_)

Her eyes wandered the empty room that had only contained a bed, a toilet, and a chair.

She had been sitting on the bed for the past ten minutes, pondering about an escape route, which seemed impossible, seeing that the room had only one exit:

The door.

She then realized she was dressed in a blue haori with a light blue tint on the edges.

Y/n got up out of the bed and examined the room once again.

"What is this place?"

She started to walk towards the door, noticing a small window that only her head could fit through.

She looked through it, only to meet another door with the same window.

"You don't know what this place is?"

A voice sounded, seemingly through the window.
The voice of a child, a boy.

"It's a prison. Designed to keep monsters like us inside for all eternity."

He seemed like your age, but more mature.

Y/n kept looking through the window, meeting a boy with long red hair and a scar on his left eye.

"What do you mean monster?"

The red haired boy scoffed.
"You mean you don't know?"

"....."

"People who are in these cells are monsters, freaks of nature. We can't be saved."

"You don't seem like a monster to me."

"I beg to differ."

The boy raised his right arm, which was a giant red claw that had a closed eye in its palm.

"If I'm not a monster, then I'm a failed experiment."

The boy put his arm down and looked away.
Y/n looked at him with sadness.

"I apologize for my rudeness."
Y/n looked away as well.

The boy went away from the window and Y/n just stood there for a few moments before going back to her bed.

She laid down on the bed, closing her eyes and hoping she would meet Akari again to escape from this prison.

————-

Giyuu had already been sent on a mission.

He had been stuffing down his feelings for Y/n, hoping they wouldn't get in the way of his work.

He took his anger out on the demons he hunted, thinking about Y/n not trusting him enough.

But, his mind constantly wandered back to Y/n, wondering if she was ok and if she would forgive him.

Eventually, a week passed and Giyuu had finally calmed down and came to terms with his feelings and tried to become more assertive with his needs and wants.

Unfortunately, by the time he was ready, Y/n had escaped the prison.

Giyuu had arrived at the masters headquarters, ready to take Y/n with him, but the other slayers had been waiting for him at the headquarters.

"Why are you all here?"
Giyuu asked the group with his emotionless face and tone.

Shinobu looked at Giyuu.
And for one of the first times in his life, he found Shinobu with a saddened look.

"What happened?"
His face immediately turned to anger but it died down when the master walked out to address the matter.

"My children, I'm grateful that you all have come."

The Hashira immediately bowed in front of him.
"Master, with all due respect, I'd like to know what is going on."

The master stood silent for a split second.

"Tomioka-San, Y/n-San has escaped my residence."

Giyuu felt his heart drop. His eyes turned wide in horror.
He looked at the master and found a pitiful gaze that held sadness for Y/n.

"I've already sent out an order that once she is found she is to be immediately captured with any force necessary."

"Master, please wait-!"

Shinobu silenced Giyuu by covering his mouth. Giyuu did so, very hesitantly.

"Tomioka-San, I can understand your concern for Y/n, but as it stands, she is a threat. She took an accomplice with her when she escaped. Let's not forget that she drank Muzan's blood."

The master looked down at Giyuu and then at the other Hashira.

"She is to be found, if in any case she has defected to the demon side, you are ordered to kill her on the spot. Thank you."

The master walked back inside his mansion.
Giyuu was still shocked at this whole ordeal.
How could she escape? Didn't masters headquarters have the most secure prison?

Giyuu stood back up, feeling his face become wet.

"Tomioka-San......"
Shinobu went over to him and pat his back, trying to comfort him in any way she could.

Giyuu felt his tears fall, and the other Hashira watched, wishing that they wouldn't have to kill this man's fate.

Giyuu kept crying as started to go towards the only place he knew of that Y/n had grew up.

The Fuyu Mansion.

Shinobu and Muichiro followed behind, hoping that their friend would not lose control of his emotions.
