Ch.15 Signs

Y/n opened her eyes, finding herself in a white room. She had been laying on what seemed to be the ground and slowly stood up.
She looked around, finding an icy area right across from where she had been laying.

It looked to be a throne room completely made of ice and a blue fire in the shape of a human sat in front of the throne curled into a ball.

Y/n went closer to the blue fire, feeling the cold radiate off of the icy room.

The blue fire seemed to be crying and whimpering.

Y/n stood in front of the fire.
"Why're you crying?"

The fire looked up at Y/n.
"Your humanity is fading, soon you won't have anything left. And I'll be alone again."

Blood starts to drip on top of the ice throne.
"I'm not going anywhere. I'll keep you company."

The fire stopped crying.
"How?"

Y/n reached her hand out to the fire.
"By staying together, of course."

The fire took Y/n's hand and the blood stopped dripping.
The fire sat back on the throne and Y/n smiled at it.
"See? You won't be alone."

"You're right, but you drank the blood. There's no way you won't turn into something like me."

"It's ok. I'll give you the blood. That way I'll be the same."

The blue fire sighed.
"You always have the craziest solutions. Just be sure not to give it all to me. Give me a little at a time."

Y/n smiled at the fire.
"Thank you."

The fire burned brightly.
"Anything for my only friend."

Suddenly everything went white.

Y/n opened her eyes again, finding Giyuu and Shinobu leaning over her.

"Oh goodness, She's awake!"
Shinobu yelled out and she quickly called on her crow to report back to the master.

Giyuu sighed with relief.
"What happened?"
Y/n looked at Giyuu questioningly.

"You don't remember?"

"......"

Giyuu sighed again.
"You were attacked by Muzan Kibutsuji."

That name rang in Y/n's ears. For some reason it felt familiar, like she knew exactly who that person was.

But as that name rang in her ears, her memories of what had happened came flooding back to her, hitting her like a brick wall.

Y/n suddenly grabbed Giyuu's haori.
"Where is he?!"

Giyuu was so surprised he blinked when
Y/n had yelled at him.
"Shinobu-San and I already searched the area for any traces of demons. There was no sign of anything."

Y/n let go of Giyuu's haori.

"Did something happen when he attacked you?"

Y/n remained silent, not wanting to reveal anything and thinking really hard about the incident and information that could change her entire life.

"Y/n, you need to tell me if anything happened."

Y/n still stayed silent, now realizing she had been sitting in a futon in a hotel and tried to get up, but her body still hurt from the pain.

She tried to get up again but then another wave of pain ran over her and she screamed.

Giyuu watched in horror as Y/n's icy blue eye became more like a demons and the bottom of her hair turning white.

"Y/n.....something did happen."

When Y/n stopped screaming, she looked at Giyuu in fear.

"Nothing happened...!"

Giyuu suddenly got angry and grabbed
Y/n's haori.
"Why don't you trust me?! I've tried my best to make you understand that I'll always be by your side, but you just try to push me away!"

Y/n watched as his eyes drifted into anger and his emotions showed all over his face.

"Tomioka-San I'm sorry."

Y/n tried to get up for a third time and she did so successfully.

"No, Y/n, I am."

"Huh?"

Giyuu stood up fast and quickly chopped Y/n on the neck, disabling her and making her lose consciousness.

"I can't allow you to go out in this state."

Giyuu picked up her body and carried her bridal style.
Shinobu walked in the room just as he did.
"Tomioka-San, what happened?"

"Something happened between her and Muzan. Until we find out what, we're taking her back to the master."

"Tomioka-San, you can't be suggesting-"

"I am. It's the only way she won't be trying to out and kill herself."

"You can't lock her up! She's your fate!"

"That's exactly why I am. Now come, we're leaving."

Giyuu walked out of the hotel and made his way back to the main headquarters, carrying Y/n.
Shinobu sighed heavily, watching him.

"You May be right, Tomioka-San, but you know she won't like it."
