(Man y'all ain't ready for this ngl.)

"Hello Akari."
Y/n stepped towards the Icy demon on her throne of Frost.

"So what brings you here? I must say that Giyuu sure brings along some more problems for you."

"We're both learning what love is."
She moved to sit with Akari as she played with her ice, making sculptures that almost resembled her, Giyuu and Y/n.

"I see. How fun that must be!"
Akari smiled at Y/n

"It truly is. I only hope for the best of what's to come."

"Ah, you came to borrow my power again, huh? As much as I love that idea, wouldn't it be terrible for your string?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, as you know, the more you use this power, the more your humanity slips away. I wouldn't want that to happen to you Y/n. I've said this many times to each host, but they've never had a reason to live. You, however, are someone that has a chance at happiness."

"I know. But I didn't come to ask for your power. I'm gonna use it when absolutely necessary of course. I came to just talk to you. I want to remember these old times you speak of."

Akari's eyes lit up.
"Really? You want to play again? That would be nice, but aren't you super mature now?"

"I'm mature? Crazy how a demon who's lived for more than 500 years finds me more mature."

Akari laughed and Y/n joined in.
She then stood up on the chair and Pat Y/n on the head, giving her a crown of ice.

"What's this?"

"An old gift from an old friend."

The two spent the rest of the night together in Y/n's dreams, talking about old times and Akari. Y/n told Akari all about what happened with Giyuu and Akari looked sort of relieved and surprised but didn't say anything.

When the night came to an end, Akari and Y/n said their goodbyes as Akari went back to sit in her throne of Ice, alone once again.

When Y/n awoke, she was met with her string and the nights that followed did not include Akari.

The crew had stayed in the village for 2 months and 2 weeks. The had slayed demons nearby, but their master had wanted them to stick to the specified area in order to catch Muzan by surprise.

Y/n had been called by the master during the first month, in a hotel where only slayers knew about.

"Greetings, my child, Y/n Fuyu."
The master had walked out of the hallway and into the room Y/n had been waiting, being lead by one of the twins she had met during her meeting of the Hashira.

Y/n gave him a deep bow.
"Greetings master. If I may ask, what is the purpose of my visit?"

The twins led him to sit on a chair on the floor in front of Y/n and a table where a teapot and cups had been sitting.

Another twin walked in and poured tea before going to stand by the door.

"I want to ask that you become a hashira."
The twin handed him the teacup in front of him, and he took it as she bumped it against his knuckles to let him know where it was.

"Excuse my rudeness, master, but I thought there was only meant to be 9 hashira. Why make me one?"

"Though your breathing is fascinatingly unique, Giyuu and Shinobu seem to trust you."
He took a sip of his tea.

"So I'm appointing you as the 10th Hashira, the Frost Pillar."

"Thank you for this opportunity, Master. I will not disappoint you in this coming battle."
Y/n got up and bowed again.
