(Sorry for the super late update)

Giyuu had no idea what he was doing.

What the heck was wrong with him?

He wasn't the type to do this sort of thing.
It made him confused.

Then again, he got to see another one of Y/n's faces. He felt his heart thump at the thought of her surprised and blushing face.

He continued walking towards the garden in hopes that Y/n would meet him there.

"I'm guessing it all worked out?"
Shinobu leaned against the wall next to the entrance to the garden.

Shinobu had her usual smiling face on but Giyuu sensed her anger and immediately put on his guard.
"I'm hoping it did."

"You know, Tomioka-San, I was hoping that you never found your string."

Giyuu froze and stood silent.

"I hoped that you would never try to seek out the end. I thought things were perfect just the way they were."

"What're you trying to say?"

Shinobu stopped leaning against the wall and stood up straight.
"I'm saying that even if I had a string, I became very fond of you. Not in any weird way. I thought like brother and sister."

"....."

"I thought I was looking out for you, but the more you hesitate with Y/n the more angrier I get."

Giyuu knew exactly what she was talking about.
When Giyuu kissed Y/n, it was the first time he hadn't hesitated. Before, he just kept on waiting.

Why wait?

Y/n was probably trying her hardest for Giyuu and here he was waiting for her to make the first move.

"I get it. I'm going to see what Y/n wants before I make a move."

Shinobu's anger vanished and Giyuu saw her smile grow bigger.

"It's fun to see an assertive Tomioka-San."

—————-

Y/n was still shocked at what had happened moment ago.
She moved a hand to caress the lips that Giyuu had kissed.

It wasn't what she had expected at all.

Her mind had been wondering what the future would hold now that her identity and fate had been revealed and she still had no idea.

Her Icy blue and E/c pair of eyes had watered at the thought that Giyuu was willing to take care of a half-breed like her.

Of course Y/n had always hated herself because she was the very thing that she had been trained to hunt down.

She was lucky that she didn't have most of the characteristics a demon had like burning in the sun. The only thing that could tell you that Y/n was a demon was her Icy blue eye.

Though a thought at the back of her head remained.

Now that she had found her fate who accepts her and cares for her, what was she going to do?

She suddenly heard footsteps at the doorway to the room and found Giyuu standing.

"Hey Y/n"

He walked towards her, Y/n's Icy blue and E/c pair of eyes following his movements.

He stopped by the foot of the bed and faced his eyes towards Y/n's eyes.

They stared at each other for a few moments, Y/n tempted to turn away from embarrassment.

"I came to talk. I want you to listen to me for a little bit."

Y/n nodded, a small part of her fearing his next words. She got up out of the covers of bed, sitting to face towards Giyuu.

Giyuu then suddenly kneeled in front of
Y/n, breaking eye contact.

"I know it's only been a couple of days and you may think this is going a little fast, but I want to stay by your side."

Y/n was astounded by his words.

"I know it may seem weird, but I can't bear the thought of losing you. In these past couple of days, I find it harder to keep your face out of my head."

Y/n kept listening to him talk, feeling her heartbeat grow louder.

Giyuu looked up at Y/n, regaining eye contact.

"Will you stay with me?"

(Don't worry y'all the cliffhanger won't be for long)
