(Oh yuh look at me updating 2 days in a row)

The trio had swiftly made their way back to the butterfly mansion, not speaking a single word.

How could they?

Giyuu has never seen Y/n so angry before.
Just the very thought of that face made a shiver crawl up his back.

Shinobu on the other hand was on Y/n's side.

They arrived at the mansion, Y/n going inside quickly moving past The insect and Water Hashira.

Giyuu went to go after her, but Shinobu held him back.
"She needs time alone."

Of course he knew that. It just hurt him inside. It was as if Y/n was trying to push him away.

"Tomioka-San, I know she is your fate, but you can't always understand everything a person is going through."

"Then why have a fate? Isn't the whole point of this to not make anyone lonely? If I can't help my own fate, how am I supposed to help anyone else?"

Shinobu stood silent.

"As her fate, her problems are my own. I will not let her take them by herself."

Giyuu shook Shinobu off and went inside the mansion, looking for Y/n.

"How silly of me. To think I can stop Tomioka-San of all people."
Shinobu went inside a moment after Giyuu had.

————-

Y/n had went straight to the medical room.
She sat on a bed and lifted up her icy haori, revealing a frosted-over left leg.

She quickly grabbed the blanket on the medical bed and wrapped it around her frosted leg.

She then laid back on the pillow, hoping to relax her muscles so the frost could melt.

This had always happened whenever Y/n showed her emotions.

It was why she always wore a blank mask.

Her father had told her that she had somehow obtained a blood demon art, which only higher moons had.

Even when her father knew this, he still took her in.

He showed her how to control it even when he had no idea how a demon art had worked.

They both had learned about Y/n's abilities together and Y/n eventually began to use it to her advantage.

Y/n's train of thought came to an end when she heard the footsteps of a particular Hashira.

"Y/n..?"

Giyuu walked in and saw Y/n's leg wrapped in a blanket.

"What happened?"
He quickly rushed to Y/n as she sat up.

"It's nothing. I took care of it."

"Let me take a look."

Giyuu went over to her left leg and slowly unwrapped the now cold blanket.

As he unwrapped in the blanket, he noticed multiple frost marks creeping on the blanket coming from Y/n's leg.

"Why is your leg frosted over?"

"Tomioka-San, I promise it's really nothing. It doesn't hurt at all."

Giyuu hovered his hand over Y/n's leg, feeling the cold air touch his palm.

"Is this a blood demon art?"

Y/n went silent.

She turned her face away when Giyuu went to look at her.

"Y/n, I don't care if you're half demon or if you have a blood demon art. You are my fate and I want to know more about you. I want you to trust me as I trust you."

"......"

"I've only known you for a couple of days and I know I'm already asking for a lot, but I promise I won't ever betray you."

Y/n turned her head towards Giyuu and Giyuu places a hand on her cheek.

"You're my fate."

Y/n couldn't even mutter anything to say as Giyuu moved in and kissed Y/n on the lips.

Y/n felt her mask shatter to pieces as her cheeks heated up.
Her eyes were wide as Giyuu's soft lips touched her own.

As he pulled away, Y/n stared into his deep eyes that held so much affection for her.

"I'll wait for you in the garden."

And Giyuu walked out of the room.

Y/n watched him leave, her face as red as a tomato.
She looked down at her leg, feeling something wet, finding that the frost had melted away.

Y/n moved a hand to her lips, still in shock of what had just happened.

And just like that, her mind was completely filled with thoughts of Giyuu.

And her mask of blank emotion was no more.

(Got a little steamy in here if ya know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
