Their night had quickly rushed past, seemingly five minutes later when Lena woke up to Taehyung curled around her. It had been much more than five minutes later, in fact, it had been seven hours later. The clock blinked a steady 9:45 as Lena went to shake Taehyung awake.

"Taehyung?" Lena shook him lightly, her efforts seemingly making him latch to her side tighter. "It's getting late, do you have things to do today?"

Taehyung huffed and opened his eyes, hairs falling in front of his face.

"I have you to do today," Taehyung said before he caught himself. "That sounded bad, I'm sorry."

Lena turned red and shook her head.

"I understood, Tae," she smiled kindly before sitting up. "But there's nothing you have with your hyungs?"

"I get a soulmate vacation so we can bond," Taehyung explained. "I wouldn't get this if we were closer to an album release so we're lucky."

Lena nodded, her curiosity wandering as Taehyung began talking about his hyungs and their lives together.

"So do you ever stay with your mom?" Lena asked.

"Sometimes," he replied. "Depends on what's going on with the group. I've been here a lot to help support Hoseok."

"The fates are so funny, aren't they?"

Taehyung nodded sadly.

"It hurts to see Hoseok suffer so much when some of my hyungs met their soulmates as children," he said. "People like Jimin don't really know what it's like to even have to wait a day to find their soulmate. Not that Jimin and Opal have less struggles but at least they had each other...Hoba just has us."

"Is your company not doing anything to help him?"

"They're trying...it hasn't gone well. As we gain fame, we gain some bad fans who utilize the vulnerability that comes with finding your soulmate," he sighed and sat up, his body automatically gravitating into Lena's arms. "I was lucky that your dad knew my mom or else this process could have repeated."

"I'm sure Hoseok will get his happy ending," Lena said. "He deserves it."

"He really doe-"

A loud knock interrupted the two.

"Taehyung!" Jungkook's tiny voice carried into the room as he continued to knock. "Taehyung, Ellie put flowers in my hair! Help!"

Taehyung popped up, padding to the door to open it, the vibrant boy immediately shoving his way into his elder's dorm.

"Oh...noona, I forgot," Jungkook shyly bowed. "I apologize."

Lena quietly pardoned his behavior as she wrapped herself up in a blanket.

Jungkook's hair was full of flowers that had been intricately weaved in, and the chain around his neck swung around his soulmate ring as he bounced around the room.

"You aren't bonded?" Lena asked, her curiosity breaking her nervousness around the boy.

Jungkook shook his head before latching onto Taehyung's side.

"Taehyungie is good enough for now," Jungkook giggled before noticing a sniffle coming from Lena. "Oh, noona, I'm sorry, he's all yours."

"No, no, it's not your fault," Lena rubbed her nose. "I think it's the new bond, I'm kinda over emotional."

Taehyung immediately went to her side, pressing himself into her comfortingly.

"I'll leave," Jungkook said.

"No, no, Jungkook, you can stay," Lena said. "I'd love to hear about you."

Jungkook seemed shocked but he sat on the edge of Taehyung's bed and begin explaining his life. His life being BTS and his anticipation of meeting his soulmate. Being the youngest of the group made him the most likely to meet his soulmate last, which would hold true but Jungkook would not know this for another month. The 16 year old felt lonely at times but was hopeful in the fact that his ring would reveal his soulmate soon enough.

Lena wondered if Taehyung ever felt how Jungkook was describing now. He was so hopeful but she could sense the sadness behind his words. Lena never felt that way. Of course she was delighted to have him now, but she was never one to fawn over the what ifs of life.

"Lena," Taehyung felt a strange feeling coming from Lena. "Are you alright?"

"I'm okay, just tired."

With this comment, Taehyung ushered Jungkook out, the boy jumping around and smiling at Lena before he left.

"Honesty please?" Taehyung asked.

"Did you ever feel like Jungkook? Scared?"

"I mean...of course," Taehyung said. "I was scared you didn't exist."

"Oh," Lena said, her heart dropping, feeling bad for never feeling that way.

"Oh, no, hey hey, what's wrong?"

She shyly explained, Taehyung's heart breaking as she said it.

"It's okay, Lena," Taehyung said. "You're here now, that's all that matters."

Lena curled into Taehyung, tears falling onto his shirt.

"You never have to feel bad about it," he hummed. "Just let me love you."

She curled in tighter to him and let their bond finish the talk for them. Lena fell asleep in his arms, letting her mind heal.
