"She's so tiny," Taehyung cooed. "I love her cute little eyes."

"Make sure you cover them while you're over there," Lena said as she prepared a bottle. "Those cute little eyes are sensitive."

Taehyung was sitting in front of the window, "sun bathing" with the two-month-old Kim Hera. Hera is one of the twins, yes twins, that were born to Jin and Sephi. Soo-Ji, the other twin, was with Jungkook and Ara-Joon. The parents of the tiny twins were out gathering supplies for Hoseok birthday celebration.

"I think I know how Opal feels," Taehyung said. "I can't wait to have one of these little cuties with you."

"You never shut up about it," she said. "So I'm well aware."

"Sorry for wanting a child with my soulmate," he pretended to pout before kissing Hera's stomach, making her giggle.

"I'm not complaining," Lena sighed as she tested the temperature of the bottle on her wrist. "You just bring it up a lot."

"I know I do," he said. "All these babies entering our family makes me think of it."

"Feed this baby and I'll think about it," she smirked and handed him the bottle.

Taehyung awkwardly scooped up Hera and offered her the bottle, the baby happily taking it.

"These three hours will pass in a flash," Taehyung smiled down at Hera. "Yes they will."

"Fates on a flattop, how can three hours feel like an eternity?" Taehyung asked as he tried to stop Hera's cries.

"Just let me take her," Lena said as she grabbed a partially soiled burp cloth from the table and threw it onto her shoulder.

Taehyung handed over the baby and watched as Lena carefully rocked Hera in her arms, shushing her rhythmically.

Hera had been crying for a half an hour without ceasing. They had tried everything they could think of and the couple now knew that it was simply one of those times where all they could do is hold her and hope for the best.

Lena began singing softly, making Taehyung's tired eyes light up. The tune was familiar, one of those songs that everyone knows somehow. Taehyung joined in, stepping closer to Lena and Hera.

Hera's cries quieted and the little one looked between the two singing soulmates, curious about their voices. She was no stranger to singing, in fact her father sang her to sleep every night. Her mother often tried to fill in during nap times during the day, but often fell short of Hera's expectations. Sephi could sing, there was no doubt about it, but Hera favored her father's voice. She decided that Lena and Taehyung were sufficient entertainers and blankly stared at them.

"Would you look at that," Lena smiled. "We cracked the code."

"Don't jinx it," Taehyung said before he kept singing.

Lena's gaze lingered on Taehyung before she looked back to Hera, rejoining the song.

"Thank you two," Sephi smiled as she plucked Hera from Taehyung's arms. "Was she much trouble?"

"Every single burp cloth is soiled, but it was nice," Lena said. "I enjoyed the time with her."

Sephi situated Hera into the double stroller, Soo-Ji already sound asleep in the second carrier.
