"Lena, can you move please?" Taehyung panted.

"I am moving! You're too stiff!" She groaned and dug her nails into his shoulder.

Taehyung yelped and Lena quickly got in front of him as best she could, stopping the race entirely.

Yes, race. What else?

A three-legged race was taking place as a part of a pre-wedding celebration.

Namjoon and Ellie would be getting married in two months, since it was now February. Wedding planning had been hectic...life in general had been hectic for everyone. The couple had decided that a nice family gathering would be best for all of them to destress and reconnect.

Taehyung and Lena had now definitely lost the race, but the two were now hobbling to the finish line where Jimin and Opal were jumping and cheering, having just won the race. The good news was: they definitely weren't last place.

- Namjoon and Ellie had fallen three times now and were currently struggling to get up

- Seokjin and Sephi had made it five steps before falling and deciding making out was better than finishing the race

- Yoongi and Jin-Ah were still near the start, leaning on one another, taking it slowly since neither of them wanted to fall

- Jungkook and Hoseok had already finished the race in second, but not before falling and hurting themselves for being too eager

So here Taehyung and Lena were, coming in third and quickly untying themselves and turning around to watch the others.

"Can I have a back rub? You hurt me," Taehyung pouted and bent his knees a little so Lena could reach easier.

"I'm sorry, Tae," Lena said as she kissed the area she hurt before rubbing it gently.

"Kim Seokjin, get off your wife!" Yoongi yelled as he and Jin-Ah finally made it to the finish line.

Jin turned around, glaring at Yoongi before standing up and pulling Sephi with him.

"I thought this was supposed to be a day of stress relief, you overgrown cat!" Jin retorted.

Yoongi just scoffed as Jin-Ah untied the two before she quickly pecked his cheek.

Lena smiled as she watched everyone around her, a fondness growing for the family she had joined a month prior. She noticed how each of them loved their soulmate, even if they hadn't met them yet.

Namjoon and Ellie had a wise, deep love. It seemed that all they needed was a glance to understand each other...even if they are terrible at three-legged races.

Seokjin and Sephi had an intimate love, obviously so. Something about it felt so...young, despite the two being together for six years. Mischief was set behind their eyes, or at least that's what Lena saw. The two were mature, but they brought out the childish nature in each other.

Yoongi and Jin-Ah had what felt like a calm love to Lena, but something loomed about the two that she couldn't place. It was calm, but without a lot of contact...their previously tied together bodies aside. They were passionate about each other but didn't often show it.
