Hello there! Mae, the author here! I'm so sorry for being absent lately.

Usually, I'm 2-3 chapters ahead, but lately I've been so far behind with some heavy writer's block.

While I continue to try and break out of it, here's a cute little excerpt from the upcoming Park Jimin soulmate fanfic, In Your Heart.

"When is Jimin's birthday?" Ruby asked. "We were moving during Opal's and we need to do something for her and if Jimin's is soon, maybe they could just combine."

"A good idea, but his just passed too," she smiled.

"October 13th!" Jimin smiled as he teetered down the stairs. "We had so much cake."

"Yes, we did," Ae-Ri laughed. "I underestimated how much he would eat."

"That's Opal's birthday too!" Ruby smiled. "It's a small world."

"We have the same birthday!" Opal threw her hands up before running to Jimin and hugging him. "We're going to be best friends."

"You're six too? So we have the exact same birthday?" Jimin asked.

"Yes!"

The two cheered and hugged again, making their parents laugh.

"Why don't we eat before it gets cold, hmm?" Yoosung asked. "I made your favorite, Chim."

Jimin scrambled up onto his seat, Opal pushing her way onto the same chair.

"Opal, come sit in your own seat," Ruby scolded.

"No, she can sit with me," Jimin said.

"Are you sure?" Ruby asked.

Jimin nodded and grabbed his chopsticks before digging in to his food.

"Maybe our kids will be best friends just like us," Ae-Ri commented to Ruby.

"I think they already are."
