Wooyoung woke up to the smell of food. He loved waking up to that delicious smell of whatever Seonghwa had prepared for them. It made his appreciation for the man sky rocket as days passed.
When he was with his parents, he rarely ate a nice breakfast or any breakfast for that matter. He was never thrilled to wake up in the morning when he knew he wasn't getting a plate filled with delicious food. So he would usually continue to sleep until he was forced out of bed.
Wooyoung opened his eyes to see he was in San's bed, without a certain someone. He pouted, however the pout was quickly replaced with a huge smile when San came walking into the bedroom. The man was beaming, which only made Wooyoung more happy. Not only does he get to wake up to such a wonderful smell, he also gets to be blessed by the presence of his favourite person ever.
"Good morning Wooyoungie!" San smiled brightly, walking over to the bed and sitting next to Wooyoung.
"Morning Sannie," Wooyoung reciprocated the smile and hugged the man.
They stayed in that position for several minutes, just enjoying each other's company. The best moments was when they could just lay around and cuddle, which wasn't as much as both San and Wooyoung would like. So any chance that they got they would use it and never let go of each other.
"How're you feeling?" San questioned, separating a little from the boy.
"I'm okay, head hurts a little, but I'm better," Wooyoung replied. He fully separated himself from San and sat up, confusing the man, "food," was all Wooyoung said.
"No, no. Stay right here," San stated. He held onto the boy's waist to keep him from getting up, which in turn, made Wooyoung whine.
"But-"
"Good morning Youngie!" Seonghwa cheered as he walked into the bedroom, alongside Hongjoong. They held a tray with waffles, strawberries, syrup, and apple juice, then placed it down infront of the boy.
Wooyoung sat there confused. Why were they bringing him breakfast? He was more than capable of going to the dining room to eat there.
"Breakfast in bed because we love you so much," Hongjoong had a wide smile on his face that stretched from ear to ear.
"I could've eaten at the dining table," Wooyoung giggled.
"Maybe, but this is our little treat to you," San stated, as he wrapped his arm around the young boy and grabbed the tray only to place it on his lap, "so enjoy,"
Wooyoung felt so loved. Although his head still hurt, he was thankful for the gang. They hurt him, but they did everything and anything they could to make him trust them again. However, Wooyoung never actually lost trust in them, he didn't think he could. He had never felt more protected and safe with the gang than his own blood relatives. So if a fake kidnapping needed to happen then it needed to happen, as long as he wasn't with his parents.
The sight of the beautiful waffles with strawberries and syrup made his mouth water. He picked up his fork after pouring the syrup all over his plate and then took one big bite. The boy hummed. He hadn't had waffles in so long that he wanted to savour each and every bite.
The three men sat and watched the boy, each with a look of appreciation. He seemed so happy, so.. alive. Although it was just waffles—just breakfast in bed, it was one of the sweetest things that anyone could have done for the boy.
Wooyoung almost felt like a fool. There he was, stuffing his face with the sweet, sugary, delicious waffles, without a care. If he had been in front of any other people, he would be concerned with how he presented himself, but with the gang he could let loose. He knew they didn't care if he was being messy or wild. They never judged him.
