The two lovers arrived back at the bunker when it was dark outside. They rushed in as it was cold, and they only had the sweaters on their backs and nothing else. With laughter and smiles, they entered the bunker. All of the men were still awake due to either their paranoia that the two wouldn't make it back or the insomnia that most of them developed.

"Thank you for coming back, you two," Seonghwa nodded as he got up from his spot on the couch and left for the bedrooms.

San looked at the others, and they shook their heads. Seonghwa was just concerned as he usually was.

"Sorry... we lost track of time," San gave a bashful smile.

The others just laughed it off as they noticed Wooyoung being clingy with the older.

"Don't worry about it, Seonghwa is just always worried nowadays..." Yeosang explained, but that did not ease San or Wooyoung's worries.

Wooyoung slowly detached himself from San's side and approached the rest of the men. He carefully took a seat on the couch and remained quiet as he tried to figure out what to say.

He wanted to apologize, but what was there to apologize for? The gang always reminded him that there was nothing to apologize for. Especially when they were a team.

He wanted to make them all feel better, but how could he do that when Mingi was gone and the rest of them were suffering trying to figure out how to end all of this? It was his own mother that they were fighting, which Wooyoung felt should have been his problem and his only. He could do it. He was strong enough... but they were a team.

A team that had been drastically affected because of him. Only bad things happened when he was around. Ever since they met him, bad things would occur. He never wanted anyone to get hurt... that wasn't his intention.

He wanted to help, but how could he do that when he was so disconnected from emotions. He could barely make San feel better during the two years that they were apart from the gang. So how could he help the rest of them? He couldn't.

"How was your date?" Hongjoong asked, snapping Wooyoung out of his thoughts.

Wooyoung blinked a couple of times before he felt the couch dip slightly beside him. San wrapped his arm around his waist with the most pretty smile gracing his face. Entranced was the only word that could describe Wooyoung as he stared at San. He was clearly in love. So deeply in love.

"The first date?" Yeosang raised his eyebrows. San hummed. "Didn't you guys have two whole years to go on dates?" Yeosang asked, confused.

Wooyoung turned his head at that question. He shook his head with a frown.

"I couldn't— I mean... I wasn't comfortable..?" He said as more of a question rather than a statement. "If they saw me... I couldn't risk it."

The others nodded slowly. It made sense. He was scared, and that was valid.

"But it was good," Wooyoung looked back at San. "It was really, really nice."

"I want the love that you two have," Yunho commented as he spared the two a glance before looking at Jongho's computer once more. He was so invested in watching Mingi and making sure he was alright.

Wooyoung smiled softly. "Mingi will come back safe."

Everyone gasped at Wooyoung's words.

"Thank you, Woo," Yunho nodded at the boy before they all relaxed. Everyone truly thought that Wooyoung would get attacked by Yunho because his relationship with Mingi was a touchy subject.

Wooyoung found himself pressed into the bed, groaning as San kissed him. It was late, maybe half passed midnight and neither of them were tired. Wooyoung initiated the kiss, and it got more and more heated as they continued. But San would never take it further than kissing because he was nervous that Wooyoung would become uncomfortable.
