Canadian Luke + Smart Reggie Headcanon!

So this is kinda a Ruke/PeterPatter JATP headcanon that I DID NOT make up, I got it from Tumblr but just thought it was the cutest thing ever and I must share it.

So for a little background, Charlie Gillespie, who plays Luke, is Canadian, so there is a popular headcanon that Luke is also Canadian and sometimes randomly speaks French for no reason.

I would also like to add that smart Reggie is my life and joy, and I headcanon him as someone who is very good at learning languages, like he just kinda picks them up and if he puts enough effort into it then he can genuinely speak anything fluently in mere weeks.

So when he learned that Luke could speak French, and that he spoke French when he was angry or sad, Reggie decided to learn so that he could understand and comfort Luke.

So now imagine:
Luke in a corner crying and mumbling little whispers in French and then Reggie next to him with an arm around his shoulder and his head on top of Luke's and mumbling cute things in French back at him.

This is legit soooooo sweet and I want this to happen sooooo bad. I also headcanon that Reggie is like a languages savant (as mentioned before) and is also super good at maths and science. He's great at memorising random statistics and facts and will sometimes just suddenly come out with the stupidest shit like "did you know that turtles can breathe through their butts?"

And Luke thinks it's the cutest thing like he just adores his little genius.

So yeah.
