(Y/N's POV)~

We walked for what felt like a while together. The city of Prague was quiet, and there wasn't anyone else around...which was understandable. People of Prague are probably held up in their homes and are trying not to go out in case of any monsters appearing.

I had my head rested on Peter's shoulder and our hands that were linked together were swinging back and forth a little. We finally reached the Charles Bridge and enjoyed our company together.

We found out how magical the Charles Bridge is in the evening. The castle next to it is lit up and the bridge is covered with street lamps so it is known to be one of the most romantic destinations.

"Y/N?"

"Hm?" I said softly.

"I'm really glad you're here with me right now." Peter said and I smiled.

"Yeah, me too, I'm glad we got to see a little bit of the city, but I can't believe it's our last night in Europe already. Happy's not going to like the fact that I'm not near the airport...The plane should be here pretty soon."

"You were really going to go?"

I sniffed. "Peter, ever since we defeated the Elemental, I can't help but think I'm just not good enough to be my dad's daughter, and I'll just never be good enough to help save the world with you." I said. "I don't belong in the Stark family."

"Don't say that," Peter said, "You do. You're really smart, and pretty, and you can work with nanobots. That's pretty impressive. Mr. Stark's lucky to have you, and I don't even know if he could ever have a child with Pepper, but you came into their lives and they adopted you."

"I guess..." I said, solemnly.

"By the way, what did Beck tell you during the fight?" he asked, and my eyes widened in fear. I didn't want to tell Peter as it would hurt him. He trusted Beck and considered him a friend, and as much as I already knew that Beck was playing with our emotions, I wouldn't know if Peter would believe me or not. "You were really upset when we got inside the pub."

"Yeah, I-uh..." I started to say, but then I remembered the device I brought with me in my backpack. It was the one Peter had covered in webs when he tried to attach it to the Ferris Wheel. We were trying to climb up, and he latched it onto something that wasn't visible. I don't know what it was, and I stumbled across it down the road when I left him behind.

I figured this might help me change the subject quickly. I really didn't want him to know what's been said. Plus, we could probably figure it out together. I let go of his hand and dug into my backpack.

"What are you doing?" he asked, confused. "What is that?"

I pulled the device out, and I examined it carefully. "Uhm, I don't know..." I said. "I found it on the side of the road on my way back to the hotel."

The device made a weird whirring sound and it lit up. We both backed up in alarm as I dropped the device. Peter had me stand behind him, and I held him.

We were surrounded by a holographic display. I saw my dad reappear and repeating the same thing he had told me: "You were born to be abused."

I guess I wasn't the only one who heard it because Peter's reaction said otherwise. I started to panic again, feeling lost and helpless, listening to the words that dad said about me being so weak. "No...not again!" I cried out. Even if dad was in his iron suit, I could tell behind the mask that he was furious with me. "You're not real! Y-You're dead, dad..!" Dad walked closer and closer to me and phased right through me and I braced myself. I was ready to take the hit.

Peter turned around in shock as he saw me crouched down, holding my head in my hands. "Y/N, it's okay. It's okay." He shushed me soothingly and put his hands on my shoulders. Peter pulled me up and placed me against him. I was shivering in fear. "There's nothing there anymore. It's just me, you're okay."

I finally stopped shivering, and we both looked at each other. It was finally just the two of us. We didn't know how to put all of this. Once he parted from me, he held up his hand protectively as he crouched down to pick up the device. "What is that?" I asked as I walked over to him.

"It looks really advanced...like a projector. Everything we both saw looked extremely real."

"Wait a minute..." I said. "The Elementals are fake?"

"But, that's impossible." Peter said. "Hang on a minute. Was that why you were so quiet earlier? This is what you saw back there? I didn't even see any of that."

"That doesn't make any sense." I said. "My dad...I was surrounded in a white room, and it felt like you guys weren't even there."

"Yeah, and on top of that, you saw the fire and destruction during the fight. Who would do something like that?"

The device projected the same image of my dad again and Peter quickly held me protectively. Then we saw Beck as Mysterio flying around in the background firing at the Elemental.

"Beck..." I said, and Peter finally put two and two together.

"We have to get out of here." Peter said. He grabbed my hand and we started hurrying out of there.
