18: Holy Stark

(Peter's POV)~

"Peter?" Y/N shouted over the headset. "Hang on, Spider Monkey, I'm coming for you." I was falling for a while now and I couldn't keep control of anything as I tumbled away. I was able to see the plane ways away from me and Y/N diving down after me.

"It's okay!" I said, remembering I had installed a parachute. I let that release and I dove into the funnel of clouds. "Just stay close behind me, and did you just call me what I thought you called me?"

"It's my pet name for you. You're my Spider Monkey." She replied. "Deal with it."

"So what should I call you then?"

"Anything you want, and it better be kick ass."

"Don't worry, I'll think of one for you," I laughed.

"Copy that."

(Beck's POV)~

"Beck!" Fury called out to me in the headset. "Report!"

"Hey, Guterman," I said, tapping on the buttons of my suit to switch between channels. "I need a response. Something quick and decisive."

"It's all the Elementals!" Guterman looked at the script.

"They merged into something else." I panted, and recited after him. "Into something more powerful! It's drawing energy from the earth's core." I grimaced, and realized how stupid that made me sound.

Fury had been keeping tabs on me this whole time, and I knew he was catching on.

(Fury's POV)~

As I listened to Beck's report, I sighed and turned to Maria.

"See, now that's some bullshit." I said.

Maria looked confused and walked over to the windows. "Is that...?" We saw the spider emblem on the kid's parachute and an iron suit repulsing after them.

"Be ready for anything."

"Yeah."

(Peter's POV)~

I looked over to Y/N who finally was beside me and I nodded to her. I let my parachute go, and reached up to let her hold my hands as she guided us towards the bridge.

"It's not real, it's not real!!" I rambled to myself. I closed my eyes tight as we flew into the projection. Man, that felt weird.

"Whoa!" I yelled, my hands slipping away from her.

There was more than enough drones on the inside and I found myself riding on one. The super cool part was that we could see what was going on from the inside out.

"Pete?" her asked. "You okay?"

"I'm okay!" I said back and watched her fly around on the inside. "This is awesome!"

"Too bad we have to destroy them all." She said.

I started to jump from drone to drone and attached some of my webs onto every single one of them. "I hope this works." I grunted, "Okay, ready?"

She nodded at me and we pressed a button on our suit.

It was like watching a firework show, only bit more deadlier and us being in close range. My webs were detonating electricity, linked to every single drone. Y/n aimed the reactor on her chest to beam at one of the drones causing a domino effect, one exploding after another.
