ANDREA

Well, if you just ask me, Is this what you really want? Then my answer would be a big no. I don't know what I am particularly doing in here. Hey! It's my wedding reception  but I am in a completely different world.

The reception was beautiful but I was least interested. A lot of people congratulated me, But I didn't know half of them. So I only replied them a thank you. Don't ask me where that asshole of my husband is. I haven't seen him since we arrived here.

The journey from his farm house to here was completely filled with silence. He totally ignored by doing god knows what something in his phone. Looks like my friends also ditched me. They were here with me, until they went to have some drinks and that was like an hour ago.

So, here I am standing like a post with no one to entertain me. Mia appeared from nowhere with Axel in her arms.

"Drea, why are you standing at the corner. You are the bride, you should be the centre of attraction. You should be mingling with the guests." She said while  I took Axel from her arms. And as usual he attacked my earrings. This boy has a thing for earrings.

"I am least interested in it Mia." I said and played with Axel.

"Where is your husband?" She asked as she looked around the reception hall to spot my husband.

"God knows where he is. He ditched me as soon as he reached here."

"There he is." She said while pointing to the entrance.

My eyes automatically followed her fingers. There he stood. My husband. With hands tucked his pocket his eyes were searching for someone. Finally, when he spotted me, he started waling towards me. Mia  took Axel from my arms. Adam strode towards without breaking the eye contact. Within minutes he was standing in front of me with his eyes focused solely on me like I was the only person in this hall. And the next thing what he did, made my eyes go wide and my heart started to beat rapidly.

ADAM

My eyes roamed around the entire hall as I tried to spot my wife. I had to leave her to attend a very important video conference which I couldn't avoid at all. At last I caught her standing at the corner of the hall with Andrew's wife. I started to walk towards her. When I nearing her, an unexpected gasp escaped my mouth.

She looked radiating in the light pink  dress, her presence illuminating the whole room. The dress hugged her slender figure and flowed down her ankle. The deep neckline gave a hint of her cleavage and structured collar bone. Her simple yet shimmery makeup enhanced her features and she ended up look stunning. I didn't realize that I stopped walking and stood in front of her still not removing my eyes from her. Seeing her plump lips which were coated with a light shade of orange lipstick I couldn't control myself and did the unexpected.

I kissed her in the lips ,which I was dreading to do. Her eyes go wide and her cheeks turned into deep shade of red. I stared into her green orbs which I loved the most until someone cleared their throat.

We turned towards her sister-in-law who was standing beside us with a sly smile on her face. I totally forgot that we had audiences.

"Ok, love birds I am going now. But you are the hosts, you have to mingle with the guests." She reminded us about the people around. She went away right though.

I placed  my hand on the small of her waist and her breath hitched.

"Leave me." She glared at me.  But I didn't mind her tantrum. She tried to remove my hand from her waist. She is feisty.

"Stop it Isabel." I warned her. She stopped her actions when I called her by her middle name.

"We should act like a couple who are in love. If anyone become suspicious of this marriage  just being a compromise, it won't be good for my reputation." I said and moved closer to her. I pulled her towards the centre of the hall where our parents were waiting.
