Andrea.
I giggled as Adam pressed his lips on my belly. He kissed my belly multiple times as he rubbed palm on my abdomen.
Our baby must have known that it is his father, that the baby kicked causing me to jump astonished.
" She kicked!!!!!" Adam said shock evident in his voice.
I nodded my head in excitement and replied. " Yes, he kicked." Adam rolled his eyes.
" Your mother still believes that you are gonna be a boy." He talked to our baby as he gave me a sting eye.
" Shut up Adam, I guarantee you that it's a boy." I sassed back.
" Whatever it is, I am gonna love you no matter what." He said as he kissed my belly again and got up from the bed.
Adam fixed his suit as he placed his phone in his suit jacket and kissed my lips.
" The movers will be here at 11. Emily will assist them. Don't set your foot outside this bed." Adam instructed clearly knowing that I won't sit quiet when the movers come.
I nodded my head.
" You are not gonna listen to me right." He said as he cupped my face. I giggled at him.
Adam shook his head.
" Take care of yourself. If you need anything or if you feel you are not well just call me immediately." He said in concern.
"Don't worry. I will be fine. Besides Emily is here to take care of me." I reassured him.
He sighed as he pecked my forehead.
"I love you." He said as he placed his hand on my belly and the baby kicked a few times. I chuckled and looked down at my belly.
" The baby is sad that you are leaving." I pouted.
" I will be back soon, baby. Till then take care of mommy for me." With that Adam left for office.
I changed into an oversized waffle knit sweater and a black leggings after taking a shower.
Exactly at eleven in the morning the movers came to shift our things to our new home. Adam insisted that we shift as soon as possible before the baby comes because the penthouse is not suitable to raise a baby. Our new home is baby proofed and Adam already set up the nursery there.
" Eat more, the baby needs to be healthy." Emily said as she put more food into my plate.
From the moment I revealed my pregnancy, everyone around me has become protective of me like I am made up of a fragile glass. Adam doesn't even allow me to take a glass of water myself. Sometimes his over protectiveness irritates but he could care less. When it comes to my brother and my parents, Drew visits me everyday to check up on me and so do my parents.
Dylan, Adam's father comes every weekend with lots of toys and dresses as if the baby is already born. He is excited to become a grandfather. Adam's brother and Zac are not less than others, fighting who will be the baby's favorite uncle just like my friends.
After having a heavy meal I decided to take a small nap. I ascended the stairs with small calculated steps, not wanting to harm the baby.
As soon as I reached the top of the stairs, I noticed that the room beside Adam's office was unlocked. Emily once told me not to go in there, and it was always locked.
I don't know why but my feet were automatically going towards the forbidden room. Out of curiosity I peeked into the room and realised that no one was inside.
