He left to pursue his dream. She tried to stop him but ended up letting him go. The raw familiar feeling she felt when she heard his voice over the phone. That's when inflamed feelings started to rise again.

Ral was looking at the sea of waves with his hands in his pocket. He looked majestic. For some reason, my mind felt like it has its mind. I slowly walked towards him. Ral gazed at me. I looked away when our eyes met and gazed at the wild waves.
"I remember way back I wanted to take you to the beach someday. Pero hindi natupad hanggang sa nag break tayo," aniya.
A small smile crept on my lips.
"As if naman papayagan ako ni Mama no."
"Syempre hindi lang naman tayo dalawa. Isasama ko naman ang mga kaibigan natin."
"We were so young back then, no?"
"Young and immature but passionately in love..."
I turned my head to him.
"What we felt before... was that really 'love'?"
Napatingin rin siya sa akin, hindi nagsalita kaya nagpatuloy ako.
"Before, we don't even know what the true meaning of it. Before my perception of love is what I see in movies. They fall in love and fight then make up tapos the end. Pero hindi naman pala ganoon sa totoong buhay. Love is messy and complicated."
"It is but no matter how messy it is, at the end of the day what's important is you choose that person every day. You choose what's going to make them happy... kahit gaano kasakit para sayo."
"I guess what I felt before was love. I took your admission immaturely but I still let you go..."
Ral chuckled softly. "I know it was love... I felt it."
Tumawa rin ako. "We did a lot of crazy things together!"
"Naalala mo yung nanoud tayo ng sine pagkatapos ng klase tapos pag labas natin patay na lahat ng ilaw sa mall!"
"Tapos nakita tayo ng guard eh akala natin white lady siya kaya tumakbo tayo pababa! Grabe! Kinabukasan na late ako sa school dahil 'di ako nagsing ng maaga dahil pagod kagabi!"
We both laughed hard. Someone fake coughed from behind that's why we fell silent and became awkward.
"Uhm... Irene, time to get ready for the next scene."
I looked at Cara and she only smirked at me. Tinignan ko si Ral at ngumiti.
"I'll get going now."
"Okay. Good luck on your shoot."
"Thanks."
Tumalikod ako at nag simula nang maglakad paalis kasama si Cara.
"Uy, ano yun?! You two look like a happy couple!"
"Couple ka dyan! We were just reminiscing the past."
"Pagkatapos n'yan ang feelings naman ang babalik!"
