Kazuichi's heart flutters as his cheeks flush a pretty pink, a letter resting on his palms.
"What's that?" Kazuichi jumps and hides it, looking towards the voice to find you, the ultimate racer – and self-proclaimed ultimate casanova.
"Aw, is that a love letter? Am I too late?" Your cheeky grin makes him scowl, "It's none of your business."
Kazuichi pauses for a minute, "Do you think it could be from miss Sonia?" Your lips unnoticeably twitch downwards at his words. "What if I gave you the letter?" He looks at you, "W-What?" For once, your stare was serious.
"What, like, you're gay?" The words slipped out harsher than he intended; you only stare at him.
A sudden bright smile bursts on your face, "Did I make your heart skip a beat?" Kazuichi sighs, seemingly relieved at your joking manner, "W-Whatever, man." He looks away, deciding to ignore the pained glint your eyes.
Maybe it's for the better.
