It was night and Rayla was checking the places so she can make sure that Runnan is there.

"You're here! I know you are!"

Behind her, there was a tall, Moonshadow elf coming in her direction.

"Rayla. You defied me."

"Runaan, you need to call off the mission!"

"You've lost your mind."

While Rayla and Runaan were arguing, Adora, Callum, and Ezran were behind a box a few meters away.

Adora was still shaking, her heart beating faster while she heard every sound that Runaan's voice said. Callum noticed that something was wrong.

"Ey, is everything ok?" He whispered.

"Yes, why wouldn't it?" Adora whispered back.

"Is it because of the Moonshadow elf thingy?" Ezran added.

Adora stayed silent, her whole body still shaking a bit along with the flashbacks of the moments from earlier replaying in her head.

"It's going to be okay. I promise. Me, Callum, Bait, and Rayla won't let anybody hurt you. You know that." Ezran spoke silently.

"Thank you, Ez."

"You've lost your mind." Runnan said.

"Please, listen to me! I've found something! The egg of the DRAGON PRINCE!!"

"..That's impossible."

"The egg wasn't destroyed, it was stolen! Their High Mage was going to use it for dark magic but the human princes and an e- human? Or elf? Wait why an elf princess lives with humans? UGH, I MEAN AND A PRINCESS fou-

"Wait- an elf princess that lives with human princes?" Runaan asked surprised.

"Well yeah- or she is a guard? UGH, THE THING IS that they found it, and they're only trying to help!"

"No. Humans are liars. This is a trick and a trap! You're a fool, Rayla!"

"She's not a fool," Callum spoke while getting out of his hiding spot.

"What are you doing Callum?.." Adora asked him in her mind.

"What she's telling you is true."

"You've made a terrible mistake," Runaan said.

"Ez, show him! Adora, get out!" Callum ordered.

Ezran got out in his hands with the dragon egg. While Adora was slowly trying to not make eye contact with Runaan, so she got in her fighting pose while looking at Ezran.

Runaan stammered. "I-It's beautiful. And the girl-"

Adora tried to look away, but she couldn't. She looked into the elf's eyes. Her whole body left her soul. He looked exactly like the elf back then. The eyes, the hair, everything matched.

"How can we take vengeance for an act that never happened? You have to call it off!" The teenage elf interrupted.

"Rayla, you know it doesn't work that way. We bound ourselves. There's only one way to release."

"Runaan, PLEASE! THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY! THIS IS A MIRACLE, A CHANCE FOR PEACE!"

"The humans struck down the King of Dragons. JUSTICE will not be denied. Now, give me the egg."

"You wish." Adora cut in, getting in front of Ezran and Callum.

Rayla took her blades out ready to confront Runaan. "Guys, leave."
