Felix's POV (yep, a change for once. It may have occurred to you that I am not exactly capable of change, so-)
I woke with a start, sitting up so fast in my seat I swear I saw the stars. I lay back down on the strange bed I'd awoken on. It looked like...a surgical bed.
"Oh good, you're awake."
I shrieked, and I would have jumped about six feet into the air if only it weren't for the tight bonds restricting me. My very-manly screaming caused Bridgette, on my right, to wake up and start yelling her head off too.
We both looked on my left, where the voice had come from. I was so shocked I began screaming again.
"Be quiet!" Ladybug said. "You're gonna alert those weirdos that we're awake!"
Ladybug. Was strapped down. On my left.
Ladybug. Was. Alive.
Bridgette started screaming too. No wonder! The last we'd seen of Marinette, she was in that room with those doors separating us from her. Adrien and Marinette had exchanged a couple of "words" and then we heard a thump and she didn't respond. And now she was here?"
Bridgette said exactly what I was thinking: "You have a lot of explaining to do, sis."
Well, of course, I wasn't calling her my sister. That was all Bridgette.
Moving on-
"Well, where to start? That thump you heard? Someone knocked me over the head with some sort of weapon. And as for how I'm alive?" She shrugged. "About as foreign to me as you, though If I'd have to take a guess, I'd say whoever brought us here treated me. Speaking of, how did you guys get here?"
"We heard Adrien scream, and we-"
"Adrien? Is he okay?" Ladybug's eyes were full of worry.
I wish I didn't have to say it to her, but I owed her the truth. "We're...not sure."
"What do you mean, you're 'not sure'?" Her eyes narrowed.
"I mean, we don't know," I sighed, "we heard him scream from down the corridor, and we made to reply but some kind of cloth was put over our faces and we were out in an instant."
"Some sort of drug then. And I'm guessing- we seem to be doing a lot of that lately- he found out I wasn't there..."
"That might explain the sobbing..." I trailed off, looking down.
I could visibly see Marinette's form slump. "He...doesn't know I'm alive?"
"Marinette, I'm...so sorry, but I'm afraid not. If I had to take a guess, I'd say he was crying because he realized you weren't there."
I could tears forming in her eyes, but she wiped them away and straightened up. "Well then, I have to get out of here and let him know I'm alive!"
"And save the world?"
"That- yes, Felix."
"If you could possibly find the time to stop the apocalypse amid your incredibly busy love life?"
"Don't start with me-"
We both laughed silently before the tense atmosphere took over.
"How...are we going to get out of here?" Bridgette spoke up quietly. She'd been so silent ever since we saw Ladybug it was almost jarring to hear her speak.
Ladybug must have noticed it too. "Hey, sis, what's wrong?"
"Nothing," Bridgette murmured, "just...thinking of a way to get out of here."
