A/N: HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT?!

I'M SICK AGAIN...

IN HALF TERM...

UGH WHYYYYY-

I'm very prone to sore throats and colds, which I have right now. On top of all that, ( this will gross you out but please don't comment on it) I have some sort of lump/ boil (it makes me wanna throw up too) growing in my ear, and it's sort of stuck to my eardrum, so I can't lie down on my left side, eat properly, speak properly, turn my head etc.

It's not getting any better and I'm on the verge of going insane ;-;

Anway, enjoy!

Marinette's POV (yes again, next time you'll have a bit of Adrien's POV lol)

I slammed another book closed, throwing it on top of the rapidly increasing pile.

"Ugh!" I groaned frustratedly. "Will we ever find any information on this missing book?"

We'd been searching for the past 5 hours, scouring every book for even a glimpse of the missing book's whereabouts. Sadly, we were at a total loss.

Bridgette zoomed down the ladder, a truckload of books in hand. As the ladder spun away to another aisle, she hefted the dusty collections and dropped them with a thump on the table. "We just have to keep looking sis; I'm sure we'll find something soon enough."

"Wow, way to jinx us, Bridge, we're never gonna find anything now." Felix fell dramatically into a nearby chair.

I grinned. " 'Never' is just a very long time. But I'm sure you guys have something somewhere that can speed up the process?"

"Duh!" My sister jumped up, the books on the table long forgotten. "I have just the thing!"

I looked at Felix, confusion plastered across my face.

He just smirked in response. "You'll see."

After what felt like hours, Bridgette reappeared, carrying a large bottle, filled with a murky purple liquid that pulsated grossly.

Before I could ask what it was, she uncorked the bottle and took a small sip, grimacing at the taste.

Felix readied his pen and notepad- wait where'd he get them from? Why'd he get them?

It all made sense when Bridgette opened her mouth, her normal sweet look replaced with a burning light in her eyes.

"The Cure, written by an unknown author, has only one copy which has been lost to man for centuries. However, a neighbouring kingdom to the author's had been able to retrieve it shortly after it was lost, choosing not to disclose its recovery. As of now, it is still in the custody of the kingdom, which now goes by the Broken Kingdom. A gang of-" She was cut off when the bright light faded from her eyes and she collapsed. Felix and I, unfortunately, were not fast enough to catch her.

Oh well. We'll just have to hope she doesn't remember that.

She slowly opened her eyes. "You didn't catch me."

Oops.

She shook her head. "Ah, it's okay." She walked towards Felix, who has been scribbling away furiously in the notepad.

"You got it all?" Bridgette asked.

"Yep." He nodded, not taking his eyes off his work.

She smiled fondly at the back of his head.
