A/N: YOU MAY SHRIEK LOUDLY IN THE COMMENTS, FOR I HAVE RETURNED *puffs out chest*

Uh, so hey! It's me again... after a long time... *guiltily looks at the last updated date*... BUT I'M BACK NOW! I have a rough idea of what I want to happen in the story, so you could say I'm out of writer's block? I think! Anyway, please enjoy the chapter! OH BEFORE YOU DO- anyone heard the song Demons? It's by Imagine Dragons, and it's one of my all-time favourite songs! Here-

I'm learning it on piano too (or keyboard- long story, ask away if you want) and it inspires me a lot, PLEASE go give it a listen!

Edit: That was yesterday actually lol, now I'm listening to-

HEHHHH I LOVE FALL OUT BOY AND IMAGINE DRAGONS- they are two of my favourite bands!

NOW let's get into it!

Marinette's POV

I woke up really early that morning. I got up, and padded to the balcony to watch the sunrise.

It was the most gorgeous one I'd ever seen (A/N: Have to agree with you Mari)

I just stood there for a moment, sinking into the moment. I was generating my own bubble of tranquility, forgetting about all my problems- Paris, Tikki, being Ladybug, Chat Noir, Luka, Adrien, Chat Noir, Luka, Adrien, Chat Noir, Luka, Adrien- okay, so maybe my feelings weren't set in stone just yet. For now though, I just let go of everything. The stress was building on top of me and it was taking a serious toll on my mental health.

A lot's been going on lately.

For one, I constantly had to go back and forth from Paris to Spain; it turns out that Hawkmoth had somehow learned we were out of the country, and was sending out akumas left, right and centre. Akumas stronger than normal. You might be wondering- why didn't I call Chat? Well, I figured he'd want to spend at least one peaceful time away from everything, so... I hadn't told him yet.

Then there was the boys. God, it was so hard to deal with them. That might make me sound spoiled, but it's becoming really hard to choose.

Another problem was something quite personal, and this was the biggest one of all. My father had suddenly fallen gravely ill. The doctors, my mother told me, had analyzed his body and his blood cells and had deduced that someone had given him a serious virus, and that the cure was very rare to find. I wanted to come home immediately, but my mum refused, saying that I should just 'try to enjoy the rest of your holidays'. But I didn't like that. So, as a result, I began searching up the virus at night, staying awake till dawn for the past week to find the cure. I finally found what it was, but the ingredients were on the other side of Spain. It also figures that the ingredients were a myth; making them most likely magical.
