As soon as her customer on the other line ended the call, she removed her headset from the hard phone, stood up, and carried her tumbler along with some of her other stuff.
"O, aalis ka na ba?"
She smiled as she saw her team leader stood up as soon as she came near him. He was around thirty five years old filled with Tattoos in his arms habang ang suot nito ay isang simpleng polo shirt. After working in the Business Process Outsourcing Industry, she's finally letting go of the headset and the tumblers and is now set out to take in a new adventure. Ganun ito palagi sa kanya. Randomly, he takes her to places she has never been too. Mahilig ito sa joyride at madalas na siya ang isinasama. Hindi niya alam kung may girlfriend ba ito o boyfriend. All she knows is that they were really good together at gusto lang niyang i-enjoy ang company nito.
"You'll see."
Hindi na siya umalma nang makasakay na sila sa sasakyan nito. Umabot sila sa paborito nitong hang-out. A place not too far from the city na may overlooking view. He grabbed a whole six pack of Heineken and gave one to her.
Naupo sila sa harap ng magandang view ng buong syudad. He always loved these peaceful places. They always fill these moments with random conversations. Minsan kapag masyado na siyang pagod ay dinadala siya nito sa lugar na 'to to unwind.
She's always loved having him in her life. How he has always been her guiding light sa gitna ng lahat ng kaguluhan sa buhay niya.
"So, what's next for you Juls?"
Tumungga muna siya sa bote'ng inabot nito kanina bago siya sumagot.
"Well, you know where I am going."
