It was her senior prom and she was prepping herself to get to the venue. Nang makababa siya ay naabutan niya ang mga magulang na naghihintay sa kanya sa sala. As soon as she was already downstairs, she saw how her father's face lit up.
She was wearing a simple white gown filled with silver beadings. It was a tube dress na abot hanggang binti. She wanted to keep it simple and fun. She paired it with a white rose-colored stiletto and a white beaded handbag. Her hair was fixed up in a bun as she wore a silver-plated pearl earring na regalo pa sa kanya ng Mommy niya specifically for this occasion.
Her mother was all smiles as she came to them to show her dress.
"You look lovely my baby girl." Her father gave her a tight hug.
"Dad, hindi pa ho ako ikakasal." she smiled as her father let go of her.
"I know. And please don't get married too soon okay? Eto pa nga lang naiiyak na ako. How much more if it's you getting married."
"Not gonna happen anytime soon Dad. You know me."
"Iha!" it was her mother. "You look so beautiful."
She hugged her mother. She gave her a white corsage. It was placed on her wrist and was made of white freesia. She thanked them as they both were almost teary-eyed.
Iilang saglit pa ay sakay na siya ng sariling sasakyan. Her father wanted to take her to the prom, but she insisted on driving herself. Unlike anyone else, she loves to drive by herself and is not dependent on any drivers.
As soon as she arrived at the hotel where the prom is held, she parked her car nearest the entrance. She planned on sneaking out early and actually getting out of there as soon as she can.
The prom was held at one of the most prestigious hotels in the metro. Most of the business functions that her parents are involved in were held there.
In a few minutes, she reached the ballroom hall kung saan sila naka assign. Bago pa man sila makarating sa loob ay may red carpet na nakalatag sa entrance and a backdrop where everyone could take their photos.
She took her time and allowed some of the photographers to take a photo of her. As the head cheerleader, she was expected to make an appearance kahit pa man sabihing gusto na niyang umalis sa lugar na yun.
As soon as she got in, she was amazed at how the whole venue was decorated. It was as though they were in a winter wonderland. She took her time to appreciate the beautiful design.
The venue was filled with an upbeat song played by the band. She roamed around and looked for her squadmates. Nahanap niya ang mesang kinauupuan nila sa mismong tapat ng stage.

The moment she heard the song from Kygo, she rose and started dancing along with her squadmates. These were the moments she would miss amongst all when she leaves this school.
Unknowingly, a strong set of arms started wrapping around her waist. Bigla siyang napalingon sa kakaibang kuryenteng dulot ng mga kamay na yun.
As she faced the owner of the arm, nabigla siya ng mabilis siya nitong inagapan at inakay patungo sa isang dancing position. Soon, her hands and his were wrapped around each other while his other arm wrapped around her waist.
"Hello there! Uber girl?"
Nagitla siya nang muling nasilayan ang mukha ng lalaking hindi niya inisip na makikita pa niyang muli.
