Chapter XLVI

They've just finished their dinner and they were all gathered in the tress house nearest the falls. 

Inilabas na nila ang mga inumin and Zac and Chloe were happily opening one of the wine that Benson gifted them. 

Halos naghihiyawan pa silang lahat when the newly weds gave their toast. 

"Best thing that happened in here that you could remember, go!" Gunner playfully pointed to Zac. 

Napapailing naman itong inaalala ang mga naging karanasan nito sa Tagaytay. Napalingon ito kay Chloe at napapangiti. 

"Ahmm, I guess the under the table holding hands with the woman I now call wife." 

Napangiti naman si Chloe habang naaalala ang tinutukoy ng asawa.

"Sabi ko na nga ba eh. Something else was going on that night." Michelle happily added. 

"Of course, the googly eyes." Brad exclaimed.

"Uggh, I hated the two of you that night." napapaungol naman si Gunner sa alaala. 

They laughed in chorus as his eyes suddenly grew wide. Tracy was grabbing his hand from under the table and they all laughed in unison. 

"How about you Chloe?" Benson turned to the newly Mrs. 

"Well, I think the best thing that happened here was when I found out that I would become the next girl that this group of friend would add to their family." 

Napapa-ahh naman halos silang lahat.

Indeed, the first time they all gathered in this place was also the same time that Chloe's friendship with all of them catapulted to something else. 

She soon turned to Gunner who was sitting next to her hugging Tracy from behind.

"Your turn Gunner."

"Hmmm, ang dami eh."

"Would any of those involved some other girls?" Tracy teased. 

"Oh no Baby. Never. This place is sacred for me. I don't take girls here. Your the first one." 

Halos napapaismid naman sina Benson, "Well, the man's right. Hindo ko naman nabalitaang may dinala siyang mga babae dito."

"See?" 

"So what is it?" Tracy laughed. 

Bigla ay sumeryoso ang mukha ni Gunner. 

Napapalunok pa ito bago pa man sumagot, "Well, I guess the best that happened to me in this place was when I came here alone and didn't stopped drenching myself under that falls because.." tila napakabigat para dito na bitiwan ang mga sumunod na salita, "because I learned that you left for Texas to pursue your dreams. It was one of the best because I know that I am letting the woman of my dreams be what she wanted to be. eve if it meant a long time of suffering for me."

Tahimik silang lahat na nakikinig kay Gunner. Tracy caressed Gunner's face in front of all of them. "I'm sorry Baby."

"It's okay. I also came back here when you left again to as you said, marry that stupid gym coach of yours."

Muli ay nagtawanan silang lahat. But Tracy was almost emotional as she planted a kiss on his lips. 

"Alright, who's next? Brad?"

"Well, the best thing so far is today. Well apart from all our childhood memories spent here. I think this would be the best one. With all of you guys in here and us just celebrating life and love." he was looking at her as he was saying all of this. She didn't want to think that he too was getting emotional but she wanted to remember how he looked so happy right at that moment.
